beautiful place excellent location

lack of screens so was unable to enjoy the sea breeze at night. Due to no screens maybe an air conditioner would help in the bedrooms

Close to everything - like cylinders beach and walk to pub for dinner

Was a bit cold in winter as not a lot of sun with all the trees

The proximity to the beach. Our 6th trip to Straddie and the best location yet.

Everyrhing else.. Broken furniture. Chairs you couldn't sit on. Filthy everywhere. Insect infestations. Cockroaches in all the rooms. A clearly very dangerous floor structure (the locked bathroom with rotten floor -clearly visible from the outdoor shower) Cleaning equipment at the properly was either broken (vacuum cleaner, or so old it was surely a bio hazard, mops and brooms) .dangerously low ceilung fans.anyone over 5feet tall risked finger amputation each time they changed in a bedroom. Kitchen was no better. In summation. Utter disappointment.

The house was tidy and well presented, with a nice lay-out. Plenty of space for all six of us to hang-out when the weather was being unhelpful. Easy walk to local beaches.

It would more convenient for those arriving by bus, if the house keys were located at the property with say a combination lock-box, or using a combination access to the main entrance. Better instructions for where the property is for those arriving by bus. As we were a party of six, it would have been helpful to have the downstairs bathroom serviceable.
