Villa 2. The location is set back from the main area of Methoni (which we liked), but only 15mins walk to the main 'square' in town and the beach front. The villa is spacious, modern and private. Cleaning was regular and discreet. If you have a car, it's easy to get to the many beaches in the area. There is plenty of parking for the villa. The host was very friendly and lent us a BBQ so we could dine in one evening (although the property description mentioned that one was included).

We didn't realise that the road that Villa 2 is on is the 'main' road to Finikounda and beyond. Although it's not terribly busy, it is straight and some cars tend to speed along. In the evenings sat on the terrace you do hear cars and motorbikes, although the road is below the villa and screened by the garden. Traffic is not very frequent, but something to be aware of. There was an issue with the fridge freezer switching off during the day and night, but the host was going to investigate. Some more creature comforts would have been appreciated, for example there were only 5 coat hangers in total, and somewhere comfortable for my wife to get ready for the evenings would have been good (e.g. a dressing table). The garden could have done with a tidy as it was a bit overgrown. Nothing that wouldn't stop us from visiting again.

Very helpful host. Gorgeous view across bay from veranda. Methoni itself is peaceful with the shallow bay offering easy swimming in the famous Greek sunshine.

Beautiful house with very tasteful furniture and nice design touches. Incredible view, walking distance to the beach and the city center.

Very stunning view from the gardenlounge at Villa Blue Fort! Seafront! Clean rooms and helpful people! Good communication in short terms! 10 min walk to the beach in Methoni with its tavernas! We are coming back for sure! Thanks for the cake we got from the owner.

We stayed in one of the small villas which was very nice and quite spacious. The check-in was uncomplicated and the host answered to messages very quickly. The location is quite good as well, we were able to walk to Methoni castle (around 30 minutes). We really enjoyed our stay.
