No one speaks English properly, only the security man who helped in explaining the problems which I faced to the reception and the maintenance teams. There is no hot water for shower, and I spent 3 hours explaining to the reception team the problem. There is no kettle in the room. I spent hours explaining, calling, recalling the room service/ reception, and waiting for a long time until they brought one to my room. Laundry and service room providing the service without bills and mostly they expect you to pay with cash. And if I request to pay with a card at that time they will provide a bill , totally strange. I believe the hotel management needs improvement, i stayed in this hotel before, and it was way better, but this time, it was not good at all.

location is nice and staff is friendly.

Rooms and bathroom are not clean. Bed sheets are torn and too old. Windows can not be open. in the morning too cold in room, at the evening to hot. Wifi is terrible.

- wifi is very slow (but this is quite common for many Almaty hotels, even for premium ones) - interior is a bit outdated (table had some old non-cleanable dirt, some rust in shower) - very cheap iron and iron board (could be uncomfortable if you plan long term stay) - no clothes hangers - very cheap and non tasty bottled water, what is strange given that you can buy very cheap Tassay bottled water anyway - Every floor have a smoking room, thus in corridor it smells a lot with cigarettes

It was cold and heating system didn't work. When we asked personnel to fix it, they sent drunk guy who didn't fix it.

Excellent location of the hotel. Friendly staff. Very spacious and well furnished room. Too bad for some details that spoil everything, and which I describe below.

Hot water from the shower and bathtub, impossible to regulate. Either too hot or too cold. The second day there was almost no water. The WI-FI practically does not work. In the room there was a strip of aluminum that connected two different areas of the floor, one in carpet, one in marble. The strip had a raised corner, very dangerous for the feet, with the possibility of deep cuts. Breakfast was from 7 to 11. I went down at 10.40 and they had already removed everything. ((

Worst Ever 4 Star Hotel which I saw in my life. I believe 2 star hotel would be much better than this so called 4 star hotel. Big No to this Hotel in future. Needs a lot of renovation. The Hotel is big in size only, Nothing Else. There was unpleasant smoking smell in non-smoking room. Every thing of hotel is very cheap quality. Furniture is very old with uncomfortable mattress & pillows. Even they are providing paper tissues instead of facial tissues. Wash rooms are outdated. Breakfast is horrible with very limited options. Staff wanted to assist you during your stay but Hotel itself is very bad. Wifi is pathetic and didnt work on weekend. Highly Not Recommended !!!

The party right next door till 8 am. Our young neighbors listened loud music, cried, laughed too loud and run down the hallway. I called the reception 3 times that night. This poor girl promised to call the security, but no one came. Seems like I booked a dormitory room, but it was deluxe btw.

Great breakfast. International guests. Amazing view. Great shower.
