Our family of six had a wonderful stay at Villa Chloe. Villa was clean, well equipped and maintained. Swimming pool was very welcome and seems that previous residents followed instructions to cover it at night as water temperature was warm without it being heated. Would definitely recommend it as a nice home to spend a holiday at.

Communication from start to finish was excellent. First class holiday made even better by the owners.

Villa Chloe is a fantastic location for a quiet, stress free holiday. I enjoy my golf so this was a bonus. Access was easy and Sara's communication was exemplary. The villa is very well appointed and there are many owner/guest suggestions of local cafes, restaurants and things to do. We will return.

The house was just like we've expected and Sara was a great host.

Villa Chloe was as advertised. The house and property was very clean and well maintained. Basics were available and it’s a short drive to what you need. During the month of February the neighbourhood was very quiet and enjoyable for us. Maintenance staff came to cut grass, weed flower beds and were always courteous asking if it was ok to do this or if people were still sleeping they could come back later. The cleaning staff were very accommodating and did a good job. For a relaxing non-stress vacation villa with a focus on golf we’d certainly consider renting again.

The villa is lovely and the listing was very accurate in terms of equipment and facilities. The process of booking and checking in and out was easy and well managed. The resort itself is very peaceful, pleasant and well maintained - if you like playing golf and visiting beaches then this is a fantastic place to stay.

Nice property within walking distance of a beach although you will definitely need a car to get about as the resort is a good distance to the nearest village/ town. The area has its own microclimate which means it’s best to check the local forecast and not assume it will have similar weather to Lisbon. It was a good 10c lower than Lisbon for the week we were there even though it’s only 100km away. Peniche and Baleal have excellent beaches and the kids loved the constant waves. A wetsuit is a must if you want to spend long in the water as the Atlantic is cold!

Sara was great at communicating before our visit and the one time we needed to contact the management company while there they were very professional and helpful. Villa was a good size and very clean. The surrounding area of Portugal is beautiful and there is lots to do really close by. A great holiday.

We were 2 couples, the men played golf every day and us ladies sat by the pool which we were glad we had heated even in June. The villa is as described and more than enough space for us. Having some English channels on the tv was good. The area is very quiet with not much going on, so perfect for us. The area is very neat and tidy with lovely landscaping. The on site shop was very basic and we went in the car as it would have been about 30 min to walk I think, with the larger supermarket 15 mins away. The club house did very good food which was a 5 min walk. If your looking for a quiet relaxing stay this place is perfect, you will need a car to get around.

We visited Vila Chloe in May 2019 and had a wonderful stay. The home was a perfect base for our first family visit to Portugal, as we could easily access much of the country within a couple of hours, and the region of the Silver Coast was perfect for us. We are a family with two adult children, and the home could not have been better as lot's of space to spread out. We will look forward to returning to Praia D'el Rey again. Thank you Sara!

Villa was as described. We had a great time playing lots of golf and eating in some great restaurants. The village of Ferrel 10 mins away has some very good eating places

We had a great time at this villa. Exactly as described. Heated pool was well used. Nice area to explore. Played golf and kids went surfing. Everyone was happy!

Stayed April 2019 for a week with 2 teenage boys. Villa in lovely quiet area and was extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. Worth every penny paying for the pool to be heated as despite mixed weather we were able to use it every day. Golf facilities were great locally and a good range of activities to do. Highly recommend Sara - clear instructions were provided and she was very pleasant to deal with

Fully equipped kitchen, great dining space inside and outdoors. Great pool with sunloungers and plenty of space to sunbathe. Good size bathrooms, great space in lounge with tv & ample sofa space. A good bonus to have dishwasher and Washing machine. We also enjoyed yawing the outdoor Bbq. Housekeeping clearly do an excellent job. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful time at your villa .

The villa has great outside space and is very private. The pool is a good size and the heating was good for the children. Inside it has everything you would want for a self-catering holiday.

The villa was exactly as described, and was very pleasant and relaxing to stay at. The resort itself will suit some people and not others. It was great for us because we just wanted to lounge around and not do a lot. We also primarily self-catered as it was easier for us. It was easy to get to from Lisbon airport - literally an hour's drive. The beach at the resort was large, beautiful, quiet, and had dramatic waves which was good for teenage boys. It had gorgeous sand. It was a 15-20 min walk to the beach from the villa, or you could park very easily near the beach in the Mariott Hotel kind of area. The villa's pool, garden and conservatory made it very enjoyable to relax and read at the villa. There is little by way of facilities at the resort (which I imagine is why the beach and the resort generally is so quiet - which suited us). This means that you need to drive about 5-10 mins to the nearest small town to use the supermarket, etc. We steered clear of eating/drinking at the Mariott Hotel and the golf clubhouse at the resort - on the grounds that they were likely to be rather pricey and a bit "corporate". The resort is essentially like an upmarket equivalent of a (relatively small) purpose built housing estate - abeit villas and not Wimpey homes. All the properties and grounds seem to be very well kept, with lots of pool and garden maintenance going on. So the environment is pleasant. The villas in this part of the resort are quite close together but we never felt overlooked. You could hear the people behind in their garden but it wasn't a problem - although it might be if it was grown ups having a party late at night (but it doesn't seem that sort of place).

Nice modern villa with plenty of space. Three excellent bedrooms and good living space both inside and outside the property. The property is very clean and well maintained. You definitely require a car and once you get to know the area there are many good restaurants within a short drive. We particularly enjoyed the quietness when sitting out on the covered terrace. We didn’t eat in apart from breakfast but the kitchen is well supplied with everything you need if you enjoy self catering. Booking the property was very straight forward and the owners responded quickly when we contacted them. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend Villa Chloe and will use HomeAway again in the future Steve & Sue Mather July 2018

It was a family holiday with grandchildren lovely Villa, plenty of space and nice and private, it was nice to all be together and not far from the beach ( fantastic beaches )

The villa was lovely and had everything we could wish for. We ate in much of the time as it was perfect barbecue weather but the club house was lovely for lunch and there are some great places if you want to travel a little further. My daughter loved playing in the pool and running around in the garden. I can't recommend this villa enough. Perfect family holiday.

Great villa, clean comfortable and well equipped. Our second visit to the villa and as good as the first. If we could have had good weather that would have topped it, but still a great holiday.

The villa is situated in a lovely location. It is homely from when you walk in being warmed with central heating throughout and tastefully decorated. The kitchen has ample utensils, plates, & glasses to enjoy self catering if you wish to cook in. We felt very relaxed in the villa. There were even some DVD's from the owner if the weather is bad or you fancy an evening in. The pool is heated, and situated in the private garden. The villa is maintained to a high standard throughout and the cleanliness was excellent. The welcome pack confirmed the local agents telephone number in case of queries which was nice to have as a backup . The beach and golf course is within walking distance. We ate out locally each evening with some recommendations from the owners which were great. A car is advisable to get around to the restaurants and see the local sights and those further afield. Obidos is about 15 mins by car and great to sit and watch the world go by at one of the local cafes after walking the castle wall. We will be returning to this villa as it was so relaxing and had everything we needed for a great holiday. The owners have made the villa very welcoming and we would highly recommend to our friends.

The villa was as described luxury with plenty of amenities, spotlessly clean and in excellent condition, having the pool heated for the children on the last week was an added bonus couldn't get them out. The service team were very good and prompt to deal with the few maintenance problems we had. There was a abundance of restaurants near by and if you only wanted a snack you could visit the golf club. There were plenty of sporting activities and lots of attractions to visit, or just relax by the pool. Our only disappointment was the barbecue the grill was covered in rust and no facility to clean it, the grill pan was rotten and in holes.We were looking forward to using this facility as we spend a lot of time at home eating alfresco, such a shame as we always take this into consideration when booking a villa. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at villa chloe and will certanly visit the Silver Coast again.
