Fantastic location with stunning views all around. Alfie the host has been incredibly helpful throughout our whole stay. The pool area is very clean and family friendly. We would most definitely return to Villamoura.

Owner provided good recommendations on our stay which provided extremely helpful. Apartment was very modern, clean and functional. Swimming pool was perfect. Beach & harbour were a short taxi away. Overall a great apartment in a great location for my family.

The property is perfectly located, very quiet and secure. The interior exceeded our expectations and the kids had the time of their life with the pool right outside the door. We enjoyed many dinners on the patio watching the sun go down. The villa is perfect for a family holiday. Alfie, the host, was so attentive. There was an issue with the dishwasher which he had fixed straight away. All in all it was a brilliant week away and we look forward to returning in 2023.

This apartment has everything you could ever need during a stay in Vilamoura, with your family/friends. Great location, spacious, very clean, comfortable, very well equipped and nice pool area. Very suitable for kids as well. Before and during the stay, Alfie (owner) always showed availability to clarify any doubt and to help us on every issue raised. Would love to stay there again, next Summer.

Alfie is the perfect host. Very nice, attentive and available throughout the whole stay, before and afterwards. We forgot a bag outside the gate, on the pavement, when we were leaving. When we got home and called Alfie, he immediately got in touch with a very nice neighbor who luckily found our bag and kindly kept it with her for us to pick it up. Alfie’s quick action was really important and we are very thankful. The villa is spacious, comfortable and very, very well fitted. Parking is super easy, always in front of the entrance. Very well located, a short drive to beaches, restaurants and the Marina. We had a wonderful family time. Obrigada!

We've just returned from 2 weeks away in this great property. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 5 children with a quiet, clean pool and well equipped house. The owner was quick to reply with any queries and gave useful tips about where to eat and other local information. Staying here gave us a balance of having some relaxing lazy days at the property but having the convenience of local beaches and the marina close to hand too. The town of Loule was close by and great to visit for a taste of Portuguese shopping and markets. We've come away with some lovely family memories. Thanks to Alfie for his advice and welcoming us into his property!

Myself and my family of 8 stayed in Alfie’s house last week and it was just perfect, the house was spacious even with 9 of us and the neighbourhood was quite and well situated - Villamoura Marina is about a 8/10 min drive away or if you like a walk about 35/40 mins. UBER is active in the area and only cost me around 4/5 euros to get home at night after a few drinks in the marina. Outside seating area and BBQ are great for a family get together and meals in at night with a local Supermarket just minutes away we opted for a drive to Lidl which is about 5/6k from the property. The Urbanización was quiet and we practically had the pool to ourselves or the week. Would definitely stay here again and I think Alfie has the price per week spot on! Great location near Vilamoura. Car or taxi is recommended. All the main restaurants are near the marina, so 8-15 Euro each way for an 8 seater taxi (cheaper and more convenient than the bus). It is a nice 40 minute shaded walk down to the Marina if you want to do that as well. We did that occasionally, but taxi'd back each time. We were not sure from the property description, but the wi-fi was included. Sky sports was very useful for the first week of the premiership matches. Golf available nearby, but not used by us. Various waterparks nearby - kept the kids busy for a full day, and had to drag them out after about 7 hours. Alfie, the British owner, was very good for recommendations about car hire etc. We would consider this property again if holidaying in the area.

Lovely villa, nice shared pool that the grandchildren loved. Well equipped with air conditioning, wi-fi and Sky Sports - a great facility at the beginning of the footie season for our son in law. Taxi ride into villamoura takes about 10-15 minutes. Costs about 10 euros each way for an eight seater. Cheaper than the bus! Would be an ideal location for golfers.

Let me start by saying it was our first time using the homeaway site so we were a bit cautious.the owner Alfie soon put to bed any worries we had as his correspondence was excellent and each email was answered quickly.He even give us a courtsey phone call on arriving and departure to make sure everything was ok. The villa itself is stunning.we paid the same price for this 4 bed villa as jet2 were quoting for a hotel room for the same period so even though the price might seem high for the 5 us it was more cost effective and definitely more spacious which is what you need with 3 children causing mayhem. The villa is large,clean and modern and has the most amazing pool which was virtually own as it was only us who used it everyday.The added bonus was alfie has sky sports full package which was well used by us when we were home.i wouldnt hesistate to stay in alfies villa again and it was worth every penny. One tip i would give is download uber as they are so cheap to the marina and surrounding areas.many thanks for a great stay

We have just returned from a nine night stay in Alfie’s villa. Two families plus a grandparent 9 people in total. The villa is so well equipped for large parties, we even found plastic storage containers to pack our picnic for aqua land. It really is home from home. We didn’t hire a car but travelled to the marina/beach etc by taxi although bus stop was just across the road. Alfie’s information and hints before we arrived were very useful and very reassuring that we could contact him at any time... we will hopefully revisit beautiful vilamoura soon x

My husband will be 70 this year and we decided to have a family holiday 3 children 3 grandchildren 2 parents and 1 friend quite a lot under one roof ( aaagh) but Alfie’s home lent itself wonderfully well we had lots of room it was like a home from home there was everything we needed right down to hairdryers and as there were 5 women getting ready at one time it was great it is very well kept and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived Vilamoura is like finding a precious gem in a treasure chest we had a lovely time thanks Alfie would certainly return Libby

We hired two cars for traveling around the Algarve even though there was a bus stop outside the house,the children had a great time in the pool very clean,I would recommend the house to any large family we had a great time,Derek.

Our family comprising 6 adults and 2 children under 11 had a very enjoyable week at Alfie’s house in Vilamoura. The house is a smart condominio and with many people away it was peaceful and relaxing. The location is in a quiet residential area of the town but it is only 500m from a Spar convenience store and a handy café with a pleasant outdoor seating area. The house was very clean and well maintained and was very well equipped, with wifi and the provision of several games, CDs, books, bats and balls and Sky Sports!! It was also very spacious, even for 8 of us, and we were able to take every meal outside on a comfortable but private patio. Alfie's helpful hints were very useful and we used the taxi service to the marina area of Vilamoura frequently at a cost of €10. Alfie responded to the 2 questions we raised during our stay promptly, efficiently and to our satisfaction. Recommended property with a caring and available owner. Recommended for large famiies with some small children.

Our group very much enjoyed Alfie’s Villla. Everything that was promised was delivered, which is unusual in this day and age. Alfie was a perfect host, anxious to know that everything was as it should be but not in an “in your face” type of way. He provided an excellent welcome brochure, full of recommendations for local restaurants, taxi companies, golf courses, day trips etc etc. The Villa is in a perfect position if golf is your thing with a number of top class courses virtually on your doorstep and many others very close by. Although not essential we would say a car would be useful for exploring Vilamoura and the wider Algarve. In conclusion we would like to thank Alfie for a very enjoyable holiday and would have no hesitation in recommending his Villa for those seeking top class accommodation for their golfing holiday.

Alfie was extremely helpful. From booking to after we got home nothing was a bother for him. His helpful hints helped us get to the villa without getting lost (a first). The house is lovely everything you need is provided. His recommendations for things to do restaurants and taxis etc were invaluable. Cannot recommend highly enough.

There were 4 of us adults, a 14 yr old boy and 2 girls aged 7 and 10 who stayed in the apartment. The apartment was well split for 2 families to stay without trampling on each other and gave us all the necessary privacy. The owner Alfie gave us a list of helpful hints which covered everything we needed to know and recommended a taxi company run by Nuno who was a godsend. It was cheaper for us all to travel together to the Marina each night by one of his mini buses than to travel by bus. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well equipped and the pool was used almost exclusively by our 2 families. The security was excellent and made it easier to let the girls go out to the pool without worrying. Alfie was very accommodating with our arrival and checkout times and was a pleasure to deal with. All in all it was just like home from home but with added extras. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and it's owner. We will definitely return here, wonderful holiday fantastic weather and an apartment that made our stay even more of a pleasure - thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your apartment Alfie.

Ideal place away from the hustle & bustle but easily accessible

We were a family of 6 staying at Alfie's house. Two adults and four teenagers. The three older teenagers took over the basement and myself, husband and 13 year old daughter took the first floor accommodation. Loads of space for us to spread out and three showers for us to use - great when we came back from the beach late and then off to dinner all within an hour of arriving back. Everywhere was all very clean and tidy. Pool area was clean and the kids had a great time with the pool as it was available to use until 11pm at night. Kitchen was well equipped which we used for four nights out of the seven. Plenty of sunbeds for our use and our teenage boys enjoyed the Sky Sports as the football season had just started and the wifi was essential for the teenagers! Alfie was very helpful and produced a very comprehensive guide to accessing the property, amenities, restaurant guide and taxi information which proved invaluable. Special thanks to Katrina for sorting out taxis for us at very short notice and speaking impeccable English! Alfie always responded very quickly and was helpful with car hire. We love Portugal as in August the heat is bearable with a wonderful breeze so is just right for us and what more could you ask for with blue skies everyday! This villa is about a 10 minute drive from the marina which was fine for us as we didn't want to have any noise at night. It is about a 45 minute walk which is a little far in the heat but we had a car and also used the taxis which cost 10 euros each way. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Thank you.

Alfie's villa was superb! It had everything we needed for a 2 week stay and was extremely clean. The area felt very safe which was reassuring. The children loved the pool also which was quiet on majority of days! It was a little bit further out from Marina than I expected but still only €8 in a taxi. Also thanks to Alfie for all the recommendations on restaurants! We hope to return!

We loved Alfie's villa. The house is pristine and looks much better in real life than in pictures. We had plenty of room for our family of 6 adults and two toddlers. The pool is huge and really quiet and we found getting to the marina very straightforward despite not renting a car. We usually took and uber and it was around 4 euro per trip. Really highly reccomend this villa!

This property was perfect for our stay in Villamoura. Even though it is suitable for a family we loved how spacious it was. It was exceptionally clean and had everything you could possibly need. It is in a lovely quiet area but is also within walking distance of the Marina, where you can get nice food, etc. The property is located ideally for the keen golfer as it is surrounded with a number of golf courses. Alfie is an exceptionally nice man, who answered any queries we had before we travelled with the utmost efficiency. We were made feel like we had home from home. I would highly recommend this property for a couple/family and would love to return.

Beautiful big villa that comfortably fitted the whole family with space to spare, great terrace with a large well maintained pool area. Lovely walk down to the marina or less than five minutes in a taxi. Overall a fantastic place to stay, looking forward to next time - thank you!

Okay the sky TV could have done it for the male half, but for me (the female half) the pool, the patio and the attention to detail was immediately apparent...we felt welcomed. The house is beautiful, well furnished and has almost everything anyone could need. I'd have liked the internet, because I'm a writer and had manuscripts to edit and send, but that's nit-picking. The bookshelf and Dvd's are a great idea, and we added to the books. The area is quiet, and most of the time we were the only people at the pool. I'd imagine it could feel intrusive if every house was full and all the occupants outside but it didn't happen. The neighbours we spoke to were pleasant and friendly, and yes, we felt 'at home' not as if it was a holiday rental. We found a great restaurant within half hour walk, a snack bar and a supermarket are within 15 minutes, and theres plenty of fridge and freezer space to put everything. The house had all the information you need re taxi's and they know exactly where the house is. We did walk to the marina, and its a pleasant 45 minutes, so not too arduous. All in all I can't fault the house or the holiday.

We were very impressed with the villa and 10/10 to the owner was exceptionally helpful. The villa is as described if not better, all the rooms are tastefully furnished and it felt homely. If you have a car during your visit, there is ample parking and the drive to shops, golf courses, restaurants and the fantastic marina are only 5-10 minutes away. There were 7 in our party and we found the villa accommodated us brilliantly, the rooms were spacious, dining facilities were perfect and with the benefit of Sky +, sports and movie fans alike are fully catered for. As for the pool, though shared it felt like it was our own as there was nobody else using it and for a bank holiday weekend, that was a huge surprise! The owner Alfie was excellent, booking was easy and pleasant, we were provided with all the information we required with regards the villa and the surrounding area. His directions from Faro airport put my sat-nav to shame and the courtesy calls before, during and after our holiday were appreciated so thank you! We will definitely be visiting again soon but this time for longer and we highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a luxurious yet affordable villa in Vilamoura and surrounding areas.
