The property is situated perfectly in the town. The train station is a 5/6 min walk so very close.
The property is a few minutes walk to some superb restaurants and around 10mins to the beautiful beach.
There is a Spar shop 8/10 mins toward the main road so everything is conveniently located.
The rooms are well laid out and has everything you need. We had the Garden room downstairs so that had its own small garden area with deck chairs and table so perfect to just have a a drink and relax.
We didn’t have a car but we noticed the car parking was ample and it would be easy to get around. We took the bus into Biarritz and we found it easy and convenient.
Definitely worth staying here 😍

we had a beautiful room, with balcony, in this classy old hotel. An ensuite with a full bath, a separate wc, which is welcome but fairly rare these days. It was all very comfortable.
We only stayed one night and did not take breakfast so no idea what that was like. The Villa Catarie is very well located only a few minutes walk from the train station and local services.
I used the stairs rather than the lift at one point and there was a light bulb missing which made it a bit dark. Minor issue, although it may have been a bigger problem for some.

the Location was absolutely great and the parking was very convenient.
the room was too small and too hot. totally inappropriate to stay with a baby. not sure why we got assigned that room.

Very nice and cosy hotel with a personal touch. Very nice garden outside and rooms were comfortable. Close to the beach and restaurants.

decor a little faded, rather than double bed was two single beds pushed together, shower water pressure was excellent but no wall fitting.

The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet and we slept very well.
The bathroom was fine and the shower could be updated.
The breakfast was good but more variety would be welcome for visitors like us who stay one week.

You will not meet nicer and more helpful staff in any hotel. Exceptionally helpful and kind and a very warm welcome. The hotel is very comfortable, the bed was super comfy and we found the hotel really quiet. Very close to the coast. Free and easy parking.

This hotel is full of charm and the perfect retreat for relaxation. The staff are very helpful and their service at breakfast is both attentive and discrete.

secure off street parking. great service. room was with balcony overlooking the garden. excellent location for evening meals out in the town.
property creaks a little due to due age and wooden structure - not a safety issue but could disturb sleep. Loo lacks any form of ventilation.
