small, dirty and old

There was no elevator, I had to go up and down on the fourth floor with my languages, the room was dark and it had only a small window. There was only one plug in the whole room and that was far away from the bed. The TV of course had no internet connection so you had no option but French channels. The person in the reception was kind but he didn't explain to me about the second internet option so I had no internet all the stay there. The place is quite old and too expensive for this facilities and no breakfast.

there was only 1 electrical outlet in the room. and only 2 lights.

Good position in the centre of Strasburg. The bed was really comfortable. The room had a bath and the windows well insulated the room, which can become noisy due to the pubs on the street. Emmanuel from the restaurant next to the hotel was really friendly and helpful. We could pay the park to him and leave him the keys of the parking garage.

We asked for the instructions on how to get to the private parking before arriving. However, we had no answer by message neither by phone. Basically, you need to first reach the hotel and find a envelope with the keys and the info on where to park. At the end, we solved by leaving the car at Austerlitz parking close to the hotel. After, we moved the car to the private parking.

The location is very nice, close to the old town.

The reciption was empty due to holiday.

it appeared that there was no human reception. maybe we could have known this upfront but it was a surprise to us.

Perfect place to come and go from as you walk every corner of La Patite France as we did. Smallish room is perfect if you’re traveling lite. Clean, secure, and quiet for being in the heart the quintessential old European city.

Smallish room might be difficult with bulky suitcases.

Ideally located a few minutes away from the cathedral, riverside, loads of restaurants. The host is super friendly, and offered us extra help than we asked for.

Lack of electrical charging outlets - only 1 in the entire room, where 2 people stayed. The faucet in the bathroom is not well designed (but works perfectly).
