Great people, good location with good facilities . Rosa was so helpful with everything

We loved it! Here is an honest review… first there is no steps to get to hotel like many hotels and the bus stops in front or down the block from the front door depending on bus. U can also walk to “town” where there is a bar with gelato at night. To the right there is a little place that does cooking classes, sells sandwhiches and bus tickets!! Its closer than the other place to the left that sells bus tickets and open in afternoon unlike the other place. But beware buses are never on time and often only once an hour. Priano is not like positano, its just maybe 4 places to eat, a church and some hotels. But thats what we loved!! Positano is like disney compared to praiano. It was heaven to get away from the crowds. The rooms are very basic and need updating but the bathrooms are updated and beautiful!! The beds are hard as a rock! And the walls paper thin you can talk to your neighbor thru them. We did because it was our family. But our balcony was bigger than our room and amazing view!!! Beware the top floor i think its the 3rd floor has tiny balconies no lounger. The pool is small if there are alot of guests. There are alot of rules, shower first, no playing, get in and out of pool by foot bath ect. U cannot eat near loungers, u get one towel for your stay. But the view is worth it. From the pool area u can go down 330 steps! Yes 330. To swimming rocks. Frankie boat tours will even pick up down there. Down first right and first left and down, we got lost the first time. The people at the desk are soo helpful! The breakfast is great!! The breakfast attendants are amazing, one if them makes an orange cake everyday for breakfast.The restaurant on site, great! I would go back in a second.

The rooms need updating and walls are thin you hear everything. But bathrooms new. Any beach or swim area is 330 steps down. One pool area attendant is very strict and you feel like you are getting in trouble on your vacation, no eating at your sun lounger u have to eat only at the tables, u have too many towels, ect. I understand the rules make sense but he makes you feel like a child. Beware!! The items in the fridge are not complementary! It does not say that anywhere!!! They charge you in the end. They need to be clear because some hotels give u water. There should be a price list in room!!! The shower leaks a little but most showers in italy do. Also there is no shelf in shower to put your shampoo on! And u cannot put on floor because the shower fills up and drains slow. There are over the handle shelfs they can add to hold items. The beds are so hard they hurt. The buses on the coast are a pain! They are never on time and not often enough and sometimes too full to get on, it sucks so be ready for that. We loved our stay even with the negatives.

The staff at Il Pino went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable and comfortable. Upon arrival, Adrian took care of our car and even took the time to make an event of videoing my wife’s reveal of our gorgeous balcony view! Was like a second honeymoon. We ate at the hotel restaurant the first night and it was like being in a movie. Memorable characters, delicious food and exceptional service! Rosa took care of everything for us in making our day trip to Capri. Rosa introduced us to the water taxi service! The absolute best way to get from Praiano to Positano! The walk down to the dock was an experience in itself, but the views of the gorgeous waters and cliffs made it worthwhile. The staff recommended the best local restaurant for our last night of our stay and it was just as delicious as Il Pino! If you are looking for a place that captures the laid back, yet elegant vibe of the Amalfi coast, this is where you need to stay!!!

The shower! The design of the shower if not draining properly would cause the water to overflow! Once we figured it out, it was not a problem.

A little more variety with the breakfast

We have just spent 3 weeks travelling around Italy, before our stay in Praiano. Without a doubt, the service at Hotel II Pino was exceptional, and really made our holiday. Rosa at the front desk was amazing, always looking to help out including arranging transport back to Rome when we left just as one small example. Also Vincenzo also at reception, went out of his way to accommodate any requests we had. However it was all of the Hotel II Pino team, that were so friendly, Andrea at the pool, the breakfast staff and cleaning team, always so pleasant. In addition to the amazing friendly service, the view was absolutely wonderful, rooms and facilities all clean. It was great to come back to the Hotel from the hustle and bustle of Positano or other day trips, to the tranquility of this hotel, and chill in the pool with the amazing view. One last thing, the restaurant located in this hotel, had the best food in our whole 3 week trip, and again amazing service.

Well located close to bus stop. Friendly and helpful staff. Good views.

Walls are thin so you can hear what’s happening in other rooms. Also no kettle for warm drinks.
