Ideal location of the house combines proximity to the town and tranquility. Holiday at Suzanne's place was really a very, very good choice. We spent there wonderful almost three weeks and we will definitely visit Karpathos and this house again! The house is a perfect place, with beautiful views at the town and/or the sea and offers everything one needs with lots of space for clothes and other belongings Suzanne is a welcoming, attentive host and Her lovely house is a special place, definitely worth visiting, once you stay you will love it. The property is absolutely outstanding ! Best view ever. Very clean, very pleasant to stay in. The house is perfect. Go and see by yourself, you will not be disappointed. Suzanne made everything wonderful for us. Very helpful, very reactive. Again, perfect. We will definitely be back in Suzanne's house !

I can confirm what many others have already stated: The view from this very nice villa is outstanding. The location is very quiet and you have basically no neighbours, yet you can walk downtown on a small footpath within 10 minutes. For our way uphill after dinner at night we found a headlight helpful because part of the footpath is not illuminated at night, but if you do not have a headlight your smartphone's pocket lamp function will do the job. Finally, Suzanne is a great host. By the way, we went there despite the COVID-10 crisis. People in Greece are very disciplined in terms of distance keeping and using mouth-and-nose covers. The risk of catching that disease there is certainly much lower than in most other countries (including the country in which we live!).

Die Aussicht ist wirklich ganz toll! Was uns besonders gut gefallen hat ist die Privatsphäre. Das Haus liegt ruhig und doch nicht so weit weg vom Leben der "Stadt". Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt an jedem Fenster gute Fliegengitter, Mücken gab es aber eigentlich kaum welche, höchsten ganz spät abends mal eine. Es weht immer ein Wind, wird also nie zu heiß und falls doch, in jedem Raum ist eine Klimaanlage. Suzanne ist eine sehr bemühte Gastgeberin und hilft bei Fragen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Atmosphäre!

Das Haus ist wunderschön – geräumig und stilvoll. Die Lage ist perfekt. In weniger als 10 Minuten Fußmarsch ist man unten im Zentrum von Pigadia mit all seinen Restaurants und Geschäften und doch ist es oben im Haus wunderbar ruhig. Der Ausblick ist traumhaft – hinunter auf die Stadt und hinaus aufs weite Meer. Suzanne ist eine tolle Gastgeberin – sehr nett und äußerst hilfsbereit. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal. Danke Suzanne.

What can I say, staying at the Acropolis and being helped by Suzanne was the highlight of our visit. From beginning to end we felt welcomed to the island and so set up for an enjoyable holiday. First and foremost THE VIEWS!! Nothing is better and we could see ‘Our Place’ from far up in the hills above Pigadia. It is that prominent. At the end of our visit I totally mucked up our ferry departure (the 24 hour ferry clock got me!) Suzanne was there to offer advice and practical support. Not only that but so many other snippets and acts of generosity by her, well beyond what you will get in a big city, helped make our stay so memorable. And the house is set up to a highly professional standard. The place is great but also Karpathos is great. Fabulous food and 100 beaches - which are pristine!!!!! There are many tour boat and diving etc companies able to add excitement. One more thing. If you get tooted (blissing the car horn)’in Paris it’s because the driver is cross. If you get tooted in Karpathos it is because either you were courteous and waited while another driver passed by. Or it is nothing to do with you at all and just a Karpathean driver tooting a friend. So friendly, so kind, such great food and such FABULOUS beaches.

Wir waren September 2018 in der Villa Acropolis. Diese Aussicht rund um das Haus....gigantisch !! So toll. Wir haben uns super erholt hier. Die Villa ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es fehlte an nichts. Wir werden sicher nochmal wieder kommen. Die Vermieterin Suzanne und ihr Mann sind sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben da Urlaub gemacht, wo die Götter Urlaub machen.... Gerne wieder !!

Die Lage des Hauses ist noch schöner wie auf den dargestellten Bildern! Man kann seinen Urlaub in einen Tip top sauberen Haus genießen, das sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet ist!! Man kann sich rund um Haus für Wind oder nicht Wind entscheiden. Aussicht auf Stadt, Berge oder Meer. Die Gastgeberin Suzanne und ihre Familie sind äußerst sympathisch und unkompliziert!! Es ist die Stadt über einen Pfad in 8 min zu Fuß zu erreichen, um die Insel zu erkunden haben wir uns ein Motorrad ausgeliehen. Danke liebe Suzanne, du wirst uns bestimmt wiedersehen!!!

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in der Villa Acropolis! Besonders die 3 Terrassen haben uns wegen der einzigartigen Aussicht begeistert! Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert, Anfragen wurden schnell beantwortet und Suzanne ist eine sympathische Gastgeberin!

Die traumhafte Lage, eine anprechende Einrichtung, sehr gute Betten, und viele liebevolle Details machen den Reiz dieses Hauses aus. Hereinkommen und wohlfühlen, so war es jedenfalls bei meinem Mann und mir. Auch wenn der Wind mal ums Haus pfeift, auf der vorderen Terasse sitzt man jederzeit in angenehmer Windstille. Und egal wohin man blickt, überall tolle Aussichten. Dazu noch eine traumhafte Ruhe, einfach perfekt!

Difficile trovare gli aggettivi per descrivere questa casa in poche parole: accogliente, calda, greca. E difficile descrivere la location e la vista che spazia a 360 gradi:davvero uniche! Ben arredata, completa di tutte le comodità e con tanti spazi esterni da godere in qualsisi ora della giornata, ci ha fatto sentire, per una settimana, come i re di Pigadia! Abbarbicata sul costone roccioso che domina il paese, ti resta nel cuore così come il sorriso di Suzanne, stupenda padrona di casa! Eros Ramazzotti avrebbe detto "Più bella casa non c'è, più bella casa di te, unica come sei, grazie di esistere!!!"

La villetta di Suzanne si trova sull'acropoli di Pigadia e gode di una vista bellissima sulla baia. Indimenticabili le colazioni e le cene con la vista che spaziava del mare alle montagne dell'isola di Karpathos. La casa è anche comoda e ben arredata, ideale anche per lunghi soggiorni, essendo grande e dotata di ogni comfort. Suzanne è stata puntuale, disponibile e gentilissima.

La maison de Suzannah est un havre de paix et nous y avons passé un excellent séjour. Un peu éloignée de Pigadia qui est une ville très dense et chaude mais pas trop pour les courses et les restaurants. De très bon gout ,bien entretenue et surtout calme,la cuisine est bien équipée,la propreté est impeccable,le linge tres largement fourni.Ce qui nous a manqué:un grille pain et un book pour les adresses,des détails...Suzannah est tres pro et cordiale. C' est vraiment ce que nous recherchons quand nous partons. Merci encore!

There were plenty of fresh towels and sheets, even white bathrobes....we all felt like in a classy SPA!!!! Within 2 real minutes radius by car, since the villa is on the top of a hill overlooking Pigadia and the harbor, there are supermarkets, tobacconists, fresh fruit sellers, banks, pharmacies, souvenir shops as well as a myriad of restaurants, tavernas and cafeterias. The interiors and the furniture are simple and comfortable while the outdoor space seems to be custom tailored: two panoramic terraces where, according to sun rotation, one can enjoy shade and sun. For 15 days no-one of us suffered from sweat thanks to a particular wind that almost constantly blows on the island. We never used the air conditioning although the external temperature was 33-34 degrees and we never used mosquito repellent. THERE ARE NO MOSQUITOS!!!! Fantastic. More, an external water hose in the garden assured amusing showers!!! You could not ask for a better host or a better place!! Thanks Suzanne. Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Jungs 11, 17) haben Anfang Juli 2015 in der Villa Akropolis Urlaub gemacht. Das Haus ist toll, nett eingerichtet, mit wirklich allem was man braucht und sich wünscht. Am meisten haben wir die vielen schönen Sitzplätze rund ums Haus mit dem einzigartigen Blick auf die Stadt und das Meer genossen. Die Insel ist schön und das Urlaubsleben entspannt und unaufgeregt. Es gibt in fußläufiger Entfernung etwas städtisches Leben mit Restaurants, Cafés und genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Berge, Dörfer und Strände, sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Viele Grüße an Suzanne, auf das noch viele Gäste die Zeit in eurem Haus so genießen wie wir!

The property is nestled in a very quiet and lovely corner on the hilltop facing down the Pigadia Harbor. The view is amazing and changing along the day. It is much better than the pictures on the website!!! The town is just downhill (you can even walk and reach the main tourist drag within few minutes), making access to restaurants, bars and shopping very easy, however the home is very quiet and you have a nice sense of seclusion and privacy. The home is very comfortable, with plenty of enjoyable outdoor space with many shadow areas for outdoor activities. It is provided with everything you might need, and anything is quite new or well maintained. You will need a car to get access to good beaches, but the best beaches of the east coast including the amazing Kira Panagia and Apella are an easy drive from home. The owners were extremely friendly and did their best to make ourselves comfortable. The home is intended for 6 people but they provided us extra bed and changed the layout of the sleeping rooms to accommodate our slightly bigger party. Well it was very nice. We loved it and we are sure that we will return one day.
