Die Lage war super

Der Lüfter im Bad sehr laut , Fenstergriff zum Balkon ganz lose, Lampenschirme fleckig, Seifenspender im Bad und in Sauna defekt, alles nur kleine Mängel aber es wirbt mit fünf Sternen.Auch die Tagesdecke auf den Bogen abgelegt fanden wir jetzt nicht schön

It's a proper old-school posh hotel. It's been modernised as much as it needs to be but it retains the polished wood and marble and the reception desk that's actually a desk rather than a counter. My room was enormous and had a full-size bath as well as a shower. The whole place was very clean. I regretted not booking for more nights the minute I walked through the door. Dinner was good and someone came at breakfast and asked you what sort of hot drink you wanted rather than you having to fiddle with one of those rubbishy machines that now infest most hotel breakfast rooms.

During the next refurbishment the owners should consider installing USB charging points in the rooms (the hotel already has WiFi).

Very good breakfast, beautiful view to sea, great and cosy atmosphere, big room, silent.

It is a luxury palace indeed :) What I liked the most? Localization, at the front of main promenade, with view on the sea. Architecture of the building itself. Perfect breakfast.

I give "only" 9 stars, because Baltic resorts are not my favourite places. But as a matter of fact, it was perfect ;)

The breakfast buffet was fantastic.

The room cost us 250€ but when we checked in we found we had been placed in a room that was available on there website as a standard room for 120€. The room had one small window that looked out onto a wall 3 metres away. The photos on booking.com are very misleading and the hotel confirmed they had been taken 20 years ago before the promenade was built. The staff agreed that the room was overpriced but did not offer a price reduction. There was no parking available at the hotel if which we were only made aware after booking. Overall not a hotel worth it's star reflection.

Great location, friendly staff, amazing food at the restaurant, nice wellness&spa area. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and wish to enjoy some quality time in a great place.
