Location, owners, staff,food, would highly recommend Nikos apartments it will not be our last visit

The room we had was dark and not a nice view, but the price we paid and it was bed and breakfast will not put us off see you very soon

Been Many times and everything at Nikos apartments suits our type of holiday excellent staff,pool area,bar,food good rooms and local to shops and bars.A very relaxed atmosphere.

The apartments are beautiful plenty of space, the grounds and pool area are clean and well maintained

The shower in apartment, needs a bigger shower base to prevent water spilling to bathroom floor

We have just come from a week at Nikos Apts and would go back in the morning, if possible. From we arrived (later than expected) and we were greeted by Niko to to time we left, we had a wonderful time. The place was spotless - the pool area, the garden, the bar...everywhere was well maintained and and looked after. The staff are the BEST! Very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help. Went we arrived we met to other couples who were staying there too; for one it was their 6th visit, and for the other it was their 5th visit back to Nikos. They weren't alone, there are many return visitors (Nikos Boomerangs) whose name are on a little plague behind the bar. To me, that speak volumes! The breakfasts were tasty and filling and always severed with a smile. The apt is about 4 minutes walk from the beach but the pool was good at the apt, so we didn't go to the beach much. We plan to return to Nikos, and bring our family next time.

The one (slight) grumble my husband had was there wasn't homemade chip (not frozen)...although it didn't stop him eating them ;-)

The staff couldn’t do enough ,the food is excellent,location just far enough from pubs and noise

Would have liked a mountain view ,not much sun on our balcony,never been before in May but overall wouldn’t stop us going back

Staff were very friendly and helpful Facilities, room and bed linen were very clean Good bar menu with good variety of comfort food options. Lovely clean blue pool. Child friendly facilities. Our late checkout request was accepted free of charge. Relaxing atmosphere Free wifi

The shower had a curtain that did not fit well and everytime you showered the entire bathroom floor was flooded. The kitchenette did not have any food heating appliances (a microwave would have been very useful)

Some very basic stuff were missing e.g. soap or shampoo and when I asked for it the lady in the reception said it's an apartment

The staff was friendly and helpful , the location is good ( ~500 m from the city center). I really enjoyed the pool area!

The internet connection was slow - I barely could have video calls.

Spacious apartment with everything you could need. The most wonderful family run the hotel, kind, friendly and helpful. Food they offer is lovely and the cheeseburger is the best on Crete. Great location off the strip so peaceful at nights. Excellent value for money!

We want to thank Van Effie Nikos and Marina for making us feel welcome and safe. Everything that could be done for our comfort and safety was done to the highest standard. Also we were made to feel so welcome and included in everything by all the lovely people that have been going there for years, Hazel Tom and all the Gang you were wonderful to us, we had a great time chatting and laughing ,it really made our holiday so enjoyable. Thank you to everyone. I hope that you all got home safe and well and we hope Van and all the Family stay well and safe God Bless you all P&T☺😉XxX

Kitchen facilities were terrible. Rusty grill oven thing in the corner, a plastic drainer next to the sink that had been melted by something and the cutlery was all stained like it had been sitting in a cup of tea for ages. Bathroom is so small it’s difficult to get in and close door behind you. Tiny shower cubicle with a curtain that just sticks to you the whole time in the shower which left me wondering how many other people that curtain had been stuck to..
