The hospitality of the hosts and staff who went out of there way to make you feel welcome
Parking was a challenge but what do you expect on a cliff , managed to get int a space getting out needed more mirror work on my part .

Hervorragende Lage mit Meerblick. Das Hotel verströmt einen Charme aus früheren Zeiten mit viel Gemütlichkeit und Herzlichkeit.
Die Besitzerin war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Uns hat auch das Frühstück sehr geschmeckt.

Außergewöhnlich schöne Lage, tolle Fußweg mit atemberaubenden Ausblicken, im 5er Familienzimmer No. 1 sieht man den Sonnenaufgang!
Keinerlei persönliche Begrüßung, keine Nachfrage, ob ein Abendessen im Haus gewünscht ist, die wenigen Restaurants in Fußentfernung waren entweder Abends geschlossen oder bereits ausgebucht. Da blieb nur Pizza to go und Cidre von Costcutter ;-)

I really recommend the hotel especially for the south west coast path hikers. The location was great, there was an option to have a dinner, early breakfast and fresh packed lunch which was great. The staff were amazing, very accommodating and friendly.

This is a beautiful, well maintained hotel which is authentic to its Edwardian history. You will receive a fantastic welcome from Rebecca and Steve who work tirelessly to make sure you enjoy your stay and feel at home. We felt so rested here - it was one of the most beautiful locations with breathtaking views of the sea and coastline from the bedroom. Suki our dog received lots of attention and was made very welcome. There are rooms designed for everyone in this hotel and thanks to the lovely waitress, they serve a delicious breakfast. Enjoyed the hot shower and everything we needed. Thank you. Look forward to our next visit.

Friendly owners and staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. Lovely comfortable rooms throughout the hotel - bedrooms, lounge, etc, fantastic views. Generous breakfasts to start the day was included in our price. All food was tasty and top quality.
Would have liked a bit more variety in the evening meal menu. Also, as it isn't a purpose built building, it has no lift.

North Cliff Hotel is accessible to all the tourist spots in Lynton and Lynmouth. The area is peaceful and the staff are very kind, always smiling :)

The parking is tricky because of the landscape but well managed through the use of good space makings that enable best use of the space available that met the needs of different sized vehicles.
