This property exceeded our expectations. The swimming pool was generous in size, regularly cleaned and open much earlier than most pools in Spain. The garden was verdant, with many birds singing beautifully. Our host, Anna, seemed to always be available and very happy to help out with the smallest thing - and so friendly and kind! We were delighted to be in the countryside among the cherry orchards of the Jerte Valley (and just far enough from the relatively quiet road that the occasional traffic noise sunk into the background on the whole). The breakfasts were pleasant and varied each day with different types of fruit and cakes/croissants plus fresh orange juice, meats, cheese, toast, coffee - all beautifully and quickly presented. We also had dinner there on a couple of occasions - the food was also excellent and very filling with three courses at a very reasonable price. The wine was excellent. The room was spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden, the beds comfortable and everything very clean. Mosquito nets over the windows and doors protect from the mozzies around - bring insect bite cream and cover up if you eat outside in the evening. The hot water took quite a bit of time to come through, so leave the shower running for a couple of minutes to get nice warm water. Coffee/tea-making facilities in the room would have been nice but Anna provided whenever asked at no extra charge, which was fabulous. This location is suitable for those looking for a quiet and beautiful retreat, not close to nightlife or town (20 mins drive) - this suited us perfectly but best to be aware of this.

We had a lovely time at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect. The garden was very relaxing with a beautiful pool as well. Muchas Gracias Lisa y Vinny.

Highly recommended. We are an English family and it was exceptional ! The rooms were very clean and cosy. The surrounding area is beautiful with a lovely swimming pool to enjoy. Lovely Breakfast and hospitality

Loved the house, the concerts given by the birds in the garden. Our room was clean and quiet. Fridge in the room was great. The owner is very friendly. She gave great recommendations for the sights nearby. Great hiking options in the area. My need for gluten free breakfast was easily accommodated and breakfast was good. Looking forward to be back next year, would love to enjoy the property more when the pool is open.

It was cold in the morning when we woke up, as the heating was turned off during the night. Sometimes the hot water took a very long time to get to our room.

The owner was delightful, and could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. She was particularly good with children and pets.

We had a twin room, and the beds were not the most comfortable I have slept in. With the windows open there was a lot of noise from the nearby road.
