We had a great time at this amazing house. It was an extremely hot week and we made full use of the gorgeous pool. Lovey venue for a big family get together of 16. Plenty of space and loved all the eating areas!

The Villa is an old amazing converted farm building . It is huge and so much space . The pictures don’t do it justice. You wouldn’t have said there was 24 of us living together. Lots of spaces to cook and dine and so much equipment and diningware. Great fun in the pool. The location was brilliant. Rural yet so accessible to many different towns, activities and beaches and let’s not forget Girona. Great location for an evening at the lake for dinner or drinks . We had an unforgettable time together . Josep is great . Nearby if you need him or for him to help with recycling , cleaning the pool etc. we even had a full mid holiday clean. Charlie the manager has so much advice to share . Josep and Charlie have given us memories to cherish.

We were 26 friends staying here for holiday. Had a great time exploring the area, cooking food etc. The house was equipped with all basic things you need for cooking and there were plenty of space for us to hang out. Joseph the house owner was available whenever we needed. Had a great time.

Villa Can Tapies was amazing on so many levels. My choice of villa this time for our week long vacation for our group of 10 couples couldn’t have been any better. The villa was large enough for everyone to find a quiet space or to come together as a group which we did so many times in the main dining room, upstairs terrace or pool. The 3 kitchens also made it easy for meal preparation and food storage. Two washing machines also assisted greatly. The location was ideal, only a short distance into Banyoles for grocery shopping. We also did several day trips to Girona, the Costa Brava beaches and over the Pyrenees Mountains and into France for lunch. The villa was exceptionally clean on our arrival and we were met by the owner. He was most helpful especially assisting us to order a taxi on the last day. This villa far exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend it after spending a perfect week in the countryside.

We were 20 adults and three kids getting together for a family reunion. Can Tapis was so perfect for us it was amazing. The house is full of charm and history yet modernized in a thoughtful way. There are plenty of public and private areas, well equipped kitchens and grills, lots of en-suite bathrooms and a fantastic pool. The surrounding area is rural and beautiful yet interesting excursions are easily accessible by car. Charlie was very helpful before we arrived and Josep, the owner, was also very nice and responsive. We all hated to leave and look forward to going back!

We had a wonderfull stay on Can Tapis, just outside Banyoles in Northern Catalonia. This historic House is so nice and clean. The House is updated and renovated so You can enjoy Family and Friends on this wonderfull Place. There are many Rooms which have ith own toilet and bathroom, there are 3 kitchens, and a large amount of Terrasses with possibilities for Barbecue and a interesting Playroom with tabletennis etc. There is also a large swimmingpool, where You can enjoy the Sun and swim. There are everything You need. The owners is so nice and friendly and help us fx. with Doctor Consultation. Banyoles Lake is a nice Lake, where You can swim and enjoy the Lake. And there a certain things to enjoy in the Surroundings Vulcano, old roman bridge and cities and not long from Can Tapis the Museum with the artist Dali in Figueres. We can ceartainly recommend Can Tapis to everyone who will like to have a vacantion with Family and Friends or maybe having a Weeding. It looks even better than the Pictures tell You.

We are a large group of friends (seven families, 34 people in total) and meet in the summer once every two year. It was not easy to find a large enouth house in the north of Spain for us, but luckily we found Can Tapis. It was really great for us: very spacious, large kitchens and living rooms, the gamesroom and the pool were fantastic for children and audults... everything was perfect. The location was also fantastic: quiet and peaceful and at the same time really close to most touristic attractions in the area. Last but not least, Charlie and the owner were very friendly and helpful. We will certainly come back to Can Tapis in the near future.
