Everything was exceptional: the hotel looks great and has a fantastic garden, our room had an amazing view of the sea, rooms were cleaned every day and linens changed every two days, bed was very comfortable, the AC worked perfectly.

The room was tidy, clean and comfortable. The view was good with greenery around. The host was nice at first and gave us helpful information about the place.

There was smell coming from the bathroom at certain moments. By the end of our stay, the host wanted to charge us 31 EUR for an used electrical kettle (replaced later also by an used one) which caused power outage to our room while we only cleaned it after finding stain spots on it, behavior which I found inappropriate and unscrupulous.

We were staying in a garden view room, which had a shades over the terasse the whole day. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had 5 minutes of walk to the beach. The bus station is very near. The garden and the whole complex is very beautiful and the host is lovely.

The owner! having made a mistake turning the wrong taps on the shower I was made to feel like I had committed a criminal offence. was a genuine mistake which I apologised for. no signs to say do not use this taps. second day the air conditioning wasn’t working, messaged the owner to ask if she could check it . on return later that day I was greeted with a very aggressive owner saying the sitcom was working fine and the previous guests hadn’t complained about it. ( neither did I , was a request to check it) she then went on in what I would describe as a very aggressive manner telling me that I must have had a window open . I assured her this wasn’t the case but she carried on ranting and bringing up the shower incident as if I’d done this on purpose. unfortunately by using the wrong taps I had turned off the water supply in our room but the owner quickly rectified this so not sure what all the fuss was about! the air conditioning worked fine the first night and again after the owner had looked at it . not sure what she did but it was obviously sorted quickly and really was not an appropriate way to treat guests on a much needed holiday . checked out the next day. This is the first time I have ever felt the need to leave a negative review and I have stayed in lots of accommodation of various standards.

Great location with short walk to Skiathos Town via pretty back streets. Fabulous view of the sea, islands and the town from our pretty balcony (with spectacular sunrises over the town in the morning). Also a beautiful shady garden with tables and chairs at the back of the apartments provided a luxurious and cool place to have breakfast in the morning. Great bus connection with stop right at bottom of road up to the apartments. Beautiful Megali Amos beach with ample sun loungers, cafes and bars a 3 minute walk away from apartments. There are no cooking facilities but a great fridge and kettle so we ate great salad, salami and dip dinners on the terrace between eating out. We had thought the low price might mean poor quality so were really happy to find that the owner keeps rates low just to ensure high occupancy. A great stay and we hope to return soon.

very clean (fantastically clean), simple but decent, location (good mix between being close to the city but not in the crowd). owner was very helpful! we also really liked that there was a safe and the place felt safe.

Sound and noise; There is literally no sound proofing whatsoever. we were lucky with our “neighbours”, but you can hear everything. also there is a very very VERY annoying dog (not the owners) that woke us up every morning at 7 or even earlier. not optimal on a holiday. one night there was some device starting which gave vibrations in the walls so we couldn’t fall sleep - it sounded like we were in a large ferry (a very low and annoying frequency). luckily this stopped after some hours (we suspect this was maybe an air conditioner giving off vibrations through the walls).

We liked everything about this accommodation. Ourania (the host) makes this place so special. She has great sense of humor and she is very committed. We had a studio with great view to the bay. It is very clean with magic bed (you will sleep like a baby).

Really nothing for us.

The room was even better than we have hoped for - very clean all the time, super modern and with a nice view over the sea. The host was always there for us if we needed something - we felt very welcome all the time and enjoyed our stay :) If we are visiting Skiathos again, we will definitely come back to Villa Yiannis!
