A really positive and relaxing experience, this villa is very well equipped and comfortable. Excellent pool area and the outdoor kitchen makes this property really quite special. We found it hard to drag ourselves away!

Voor de tweede keer in dit schitterend huis verbleven. Zeer vriendelijk te woord gestaan door zowel eigenaars als gastheer. Het huis heeft alles voor een perfecte vakantie aan de Côte d’Azur. Het is bijzonder charmant en stijlvol ingericht. Wij vonden de uitgebreide buitenkeuken ook een groot pluspunt, evenals het mooie zwembad.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was amazingly well equipped, offering everything we could need for a stress free stay. The house and pool are beautiful and welcoming. We especially loved spending warm afternoons in the pool. Ed was helpful when we needed to contact him.

Prachtig huis, kan zo in een franse film. Buitenruimte is super, de keuken buiten is heerlijk en helemaal compleet. Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad.

Vi boede i 14 dage i Stella Maris huset. Huset er utroligt smukt og indrettet med spændende detaljer fra Middelshavsregionen. Udendørskøkkenet er super og poolen meget smuk. Beliggenheden er 5 min i bil fra byområde, så man skal absolut have en bil for at komme rundt. Der er mange interessante steder at besøge i alle retninger fra huset.

We had a fantastic stay in the house! it is really cozy, well decorated and there are plenty of things to explore in the towns nearby. The manager of the house is available, in case something is not working. we highly recommend to stay there!

We've spent a lovely week with our friends in Jo's house. The house is charming and very well equipped. We've spent most of our time outside, especially in the outdoor kitchen. We loved the house and hope to come again soon. Also the communication with Ed was easy.

This is the most amazing villa we have ever rented. Here is an atmosphere that is absolutely top notch. This is due to a mixture of the decor itself but also the tranquility, the pool and the area. We and the kids will love coming again. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

The house is lovely, very well located for sightseeing and only a quick car trip from the airport. The property Manager was very helpful. There is a lovely patisserie in the town and a lovely restaurant named Auberge at the roundabout by the supermarket and a few other nice restaurants within 3 to 4 minutes drive. We had an excellent holiday but a couple of things to be aware of......the owners are about to instal aircon in some parts of the house. It really needs it. It was going in just after we left so should be operating now. There are lots of stairs in the property. If you have small children or older people in the group it's worth considering. Not villa related but may be useful......car hire queues at Nice are horrendous. If you can book anything with "priority" status it's worth doing. We didn't and waited 2.5 hours to collect a car.

The villa, garden and pool were amazing. So much more than the pictures show. I would happily come back anytime.

We spent a very relaxing week in this beautiful home. Perfect family getaway with lots of lovely surrounding villages to visit. The pool was especially fantastic for the kids!

The house and gardens are even bigger than the pictures let on. The many kitchens are all really well-equipped. The outside kitchen in particular (equipped with barbecue, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, etc.) was a big hit with our party and made it so easy to eat outside on the ground floor without having to carry dishes and food up and down stairs. The bedrooms were very comfortable, albeit a bit warm at night as we kept the windows shut and fans on to avoid mosquito bites (to be clear there were mosquito nets above the beds on the 1st floor, but they're not everybody's cup of tea. Air con or nets on the windows themselves would have been absolute perfection). The house itself has a really homely feel to it and is decorated with artifacts from all around the Mediterranean. The pool and jacuzzi were really lovely and did wonders at the end of a very hot summer day (they're also lit at night until about 11:30pm, practical for an evening swim). I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone looking for some relaxing times in a charming setting.

It is very apparent the talent, time and care the owners put into this place to make it as special as it is. It was both a great home base as we toured nearby towns as well as it allowed us days to relax and soak up the lovely weather & peaceful grounds. My favorite was the outdoor kitchen! And the herb garden. And the hammocks, lounge chairs, manicured lawns & gardens. The luxurious bathrooms .... Everything was perfect. Only wish was air condition. We had a couple hot & muggy nights and keeping windows and fans on during night was fine except it also let in pesky mosquitos. Mosquito nets were quaint but I personally couldn't sleep with them. Overall would recommend this for families ( my kids loved house as much as I did!) as well as romantic getaway.

We verbleven een week in dit schitterende huis. De inrichting zowel binnen- als buitenshuis is met veel aandacht voor detail en smaak gedaan. Het zwembad is fantastisch, net als de buitenkeuken, het dakterras, de slaapkamers, eigenlijk alles. De ligging is erg gunstig, diverse leuke plaatsen in de buurt, maar eigenlijk hoef je de deur niet uit bij een huis met zoveel luxe. Wij raden dit verblijf iedereen aan.

We loved our stay in Stella Maris – the house is amazing and a wonderful personal decorated place to spent your holiday. Everything was perfect. The warm welcome and introduction to the house by manager Jo gave us the best start. Lovely to have already cold drinks, bread and fruit as a welcome gift. Every room was special and very nice – lots of towels in every bathroom and by the pool. We enjoyed all the different spaces – the lovely pool, the many terraces, the pool kitchen, the inhouse kitchen with easy access to the best terrace with the amazing view. Lots of space for our family – 2 adults and big “kids” aged 20,19 and 18 – we all loved the pool. But also that we could make easy trips to Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and Valbonne. We would love to back again.

This time we’re going with my parents – the beautiful self-contained ground floor apartment will be just perfect for my parents, with the advantage of internal access to the rest of the house. An extra bonus for us is that payment is taken in sterling not euros.

The villa far exceeded our expectations. The owners attention to detail and comfort were exceptional. Totally charming. Would rent again in a heart beat.

We’ve had many holidays in great locations with all the necessary boxes ticked by the property we’ve rented but we can still miss the comforts of home and wonder why we’re paying to stay in an inferior bedroom to our own – This was Not the case with this absolutely wonderful home. The taste and décor are exquisite with lovely personal touches throughout. You really get a taste of the places the owners have travelled to and you feel like you're a guest in their home and they've just briefly popped out. It’s generously furnished, from towels to linen through to the kitchen, including a stock of spices – so thoughtful. Photos really can’t do this beautiful home or its location justice, it commands spectacular sunrises, the light is incredible, veranda wonderful and like the whole house, the Venetian and Turkish quarters really have the most incredible attention to detail. The outside kitchen is an additional bonus and again, generously stocked with spices. It doesn’t just stop there though - Jo the manager was such a reassurance, especially when our car broke down. Even if we spoke French it would have been a complete hassle to try to find a garage, so thank you Jo. We can’t recommend it highly enough, we love to visit new places each year but with this utterly unique home we might just make an exception.

We spent a week with some friends in this villa beginning of Aug and it was fantastic. The attention to detail in the rooms and villa is amazing. The perfect holiday for all of us that wanted to relax.

We spent a quiet, relaxing fortnight in this impressive family home. Initial impressions were that the description badly undersold the place. It is a well appointed villa with every kitchen appliance and utensil we could ever need. We had barbeques on the superb table under the arches, breakfasts on the terrace and dinners in the main sitting dining room. Everywhere you look there are places to sit and relax - loungers and hammocks by the pool; little tables tucked away in alcoves, under arbours, on the boule pit; armchairs in the living room and the library and a writing desk too. It is well situated for driving up and down the coast between Cannes and Nice or into the hills to see Grasse and other beautiful hill towns. The two teenage boys were happy with the wireless internet connection and if we'd thought about it I guess we could have taken our Sky card to use in one of the four boxes connected to widescreen TVs. Instead we watched a couple of the DVDs from the house and a couple of our own. Mostly we lounged about the place with drinks listening to the grasshoppers. I think the description of the house has been updated now but it is still difficult to explain how comfortable it made us feel. Suffice to say we'd love to go back and chill out for another fortnight.
