The location was the best location is on the Douro valley . you will not get a better view any where else . it is breathtaking from your bedroom balcony .

Daniella (I hope I got this right!) Greeted us when we arrived (30 minutes before check in opened). Immediately she was warm and welcoming telling us it was no problem that we were early. She walked us around the site and helped us get out bearings of the site, which is beautifully built into the bottom of a vineyard. After showing us to our room we asked if we could have some wine glasses and a bottle opener and she got them straight away for us. When we asked for dinner recommendations she suggested a place and then and booked us a table there. We couldn't have asked for better service or a more beautiful site to stay at.

Great view from your room with small balcony - its clean bed and pillows are good shower good - Room and bathroom is small but perfectly comfortable. It is out of the way a little for restaurants. And difficult to bring anything with you to have in the room as there are no Plates or cutlery etc. Fabulous pool which was great on a hot day and a spa you can use. And those views are just magnificent.

The host is super friendly and welcoming, gives you great tips about where to eat locally, things to do etc. The location is absolutely stunning. Amazing value for money.

It was a really nice place, a bit out od the citie… but view was worth it…. Pool was cold (18 degress) but didnt go there to stay in hotel… thank you

Bed was harder then I like (but im fussy) and on first floor (0) you cant leave door or window open :(

The view and pool are a dream. Breakfast was great.

Jacuzzi isn’t working. Also it is 30 minutes drive from the closest big town.

Everything was very clean. The staff was super friendly and recommended great places to eat. The views from the pool are phenomenal; such a great place.

The path to the hottub wasn't paved and they didn't provide pool towels. Lastly, the room we stayed at on the ground floor eventhough it was facing the Douro it didnt have a view of it; I wish it had been better explained when I booked.

The view is breathtaking and location is great. we really enjoyed the pool and would had been nice to try the rest too. at night is great to come out and look at the stars

Unfortunately we can’t say it was great as there was something wrong with our room. we couldn’t breathe inside and the aircon turned itself off every 10min, and you couldn’t choose a lower temperature. it couldn’t be fixed. with the extreme heat outside and as there wasn’t any air circulation inside it was impossible to rest.

Exceptional views

Room isolation is not the best, it would become warm again very quick (after turning off air conditioning)
