The room was clean and tidy. The owner was friendly . The location is great and based literally in the town.

The room was small, and the bed was kinda uncomfortable. There was no power when I checked in and it was so exhausting with the hot weather,not the villa's fault given the current situation of the country. Would have been great if the villa offered transport services and accept card payments

The location is great, it's clean and I love the villa and the garden. The owner of the guesthouse is really kind and a cool guy and it's a lovely family, so I ended up staying more than a week and learning to surf with him too. He's a great teacher and his surfing lessons are totally recommended, not just staying at the villa. I for sure plan to come back soon!

For the money you pay for this property you obviously don't get a 5* hotel bedsheets and pillow cases, but if possible I'd advise to replace them with some newer and better quality ones.

Great basic homestay! Facility is nice and located at a side road very close to the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Peaceful vibe. Fernando is a great chef so make sure you don't miss out on his breakfast and have a chat with him :)

We spent unforgettable 2 weeks in this beautiful place! The owner and his family are wonderful people! The room had everything for a comfortable stay. You can also take surf lessons. On the territory there is a restaurant where the owner's brother-in-law can cook delicious seafood for you and more. Thank you for this unforgettable vacation! Great stay in Villa 2B1, we had a nice and clean room with bathroom, ventilator and AC. It is only 2 minutes walk from the beach and so far we had the best wifi connection. If we had time we'd definitelly prolonged our stay :)

The overall property was facilitated with modern rooms and was of high standards. The room I stayed was very clean and felt like a brand new room (including the washroom) This is by far one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed at. Thanks to the amazing staff at Villa2B1.

Super place for feeling like home in Weligama! The host is very kind and helpful, can solve any question that you have. also I like the surf lessons from him.

Very kind family. The Hostel is very well-located, closed to the beach and as the same time 200 m from the road so very quiet. They have a nice garden where you can sit and work or prepare the next step of your trip if you need it.

Nice big ground floor (cooler) room with extremely comfortable bed & good sized wardrobe. Beautiful large bathroom. Large patio doors leading to a private patio area with small table and chairs - though only limited view of wall & tree tops. Hotel is in a good position (near bus stand) with pleasant outdoor seating area as you arrive.

No slow speed for room ceiling fan. Bathroom sink tap didn't work. Restaurant is a concrete shell under construction. No table in the room.... not even bedside. Disagreement/misunderstanding over breakfast price (what's included/extra charge). Breakfast menu would be better!

The room and bathroom were clean. Very nice staff (family run business). Always smiling and friendly. Beach is close-by, on the other side of the main road.

Access road is narrow and reaching the place in a vehicle (four wheeled vehicle) is very difficult. The window is blocked by adjacent building at about 4 ft. distance and no outside view at all. The room I had may not be good for a longer stay due to this.

Nice people, great location just over the road from the beach where the host has surf boards for hire and gives lessons. Bang on, good WiFi and kitchen if needs.
