very nice design, very comfortable, it wax very silent during the night, the room temperature was perfect, location very nice. Restaurant was ok, very typical , parking was close and free

Wunderschöne Lage direkt am See, lädt direkt zum Spazierengehen ein. Sehr freundliches Personal, Zimmer war sehr sauber.
Frühstücksbuffet bot alles, was das Herz begehrt. Preis- Leistung in Ordnung.
Das Waschbecken im Bad könnte etwas größer sein, man konnte kaum seine Hände waschen. Fußboden knarrt ziemlich, was wahrscheinlich dem Alter des Gebäudes geschuldet ist.

The owner/manager is very polite and welcoming. The location of the hotel is really nice, on a secluded small lake, far from the crowds. The hotel retains an appealing classical style, but has been renovated inside. Especially the restaurant with view of the lake is gorgeous. Large convenient parking around the property.
The single room I was given differed substantially from what was in the pictures on booking.com. It was small even for British standards, with no working table, a miniaturized wardrobe, and a partly outdated bathroom.
Apparently no elevator in the building.
It is true that the wellness is vaguely associated to a ‘tax’ on booking.com. However, I find 10 Euros for a stay of less than 40 minutes with the need to reserve in advance is definitely too much, also considering the wellness is basically a simple (yet nice) sauna. This was charged at checkout, having known it in advance I would have declined.
All in all, considering the quality of the room, the wellness and breakfast not included in the fare, to my experience the overall quality for the price is not very good, compared to other hotels in the region.

Even though I don't speak German the staff spoke very good English and made check in very easy.
I appreciate the hotel is a German Hotel it would be nice to have an English speaking TV channel even if it's only BBC News or CNN News

The staffs are very friendly and helpful there. Surprisingly they have a very decent sauna room at the basement. Simple and clean. The food of warm kitchen is also very good. The hotel is right facing Waldsee, the rooms facing the lake has awesome view.
I don’t like the pillow either too flat or too thick.

Very warm welcome. Great room with lovely balcony and lake view. Bathroom facilities were excellent. Good amount and variety of breakfast food.
Being British I would really love a kettle in my room but of course this is common in German hotels. The WIFI is not great but the hotel is in a fairly remote area (poor phone signal) so not their fault.

We went by bike, quite a heavy trip up to the mountain, but very nice location. We were quite late but very helpful staff.

Dach room 28 & it’s size for the family of three people . No bed & bathroom cleaning services during our stay , only hotel staff changes bathroom towels everyday , that’s it .

Solid and elegant style. Cosy, clean room. Good breakfast. Good restaurant. Funny kiosk nearby. Beautiful surroundings. Lots of options around to .walk, hike, ride a bicycle
