The proximity to the town & local shops

Food in Bar was good and the female waiting staff were exceptional. Husband had breakfast and said it was also good, as was the service he received from the waitress at breakfast. Beautiful entrance space, lovely bar and restaurant area. We appreciated the complimentary room upgrade it was a slightly larger than average room.

Our initial welcome was tepid at best, based on other hotels I have stayed in over the twelve months in Enniskillen. We are accustomed to receiving a very warm welcome from the people of Enniskillen. One receptionist out of the two on reception spoke to us on arrival as she was checking us in, it was not what I would call a particularly warm welcome, the other receptionist did not even acknowledge us, not the best start. The room was acceptably clean, however, the coverings on the bed, that is the bed spread and the decorative cushions are clearly not laundered on a regular basis based on the stale smell, The pillows were not comfortable, it seemed that only one size was available, usually hotels offer at least two different depths on a bed to accommodate the comfort of their clients, I didn't get much sleep. The towels were clean but again did not smell freshly laundered and had an aroma of cooked food, almost like they had been stored next to a kitchen. The shower was disappointing with very little water pressure and the flow was weak with low power and the tiling surrounding the tap in the shower was broken with bits missing. We were upgraded to an executive room this was a nice touch, however if you are booking an executive room with the hope of a decent view please check first before booking. We had frosted glass on the window and when my much taller husband looked out we had a stunning view of a tin roof. Not the end of the world but worth mentioning if a view is important to you.
