The pool, gardens, and grounds were excellent.

The reception was too small and not enough staff. The breakfast was not very good. Food running out in the last hour and one man making eggs for hundreds of guests was not enough. They also need to control flys and wasps on the food. There were three bars by the pools and one near reception but only one that was occasionally staffed.

Kata palm resort was a beautiful hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and we felt our belongings were very safe.

Location, hotel and breakfast were good. Staff friendly and helpful. We had a pool access room which was in a quiet location and perfect for our needs.

We had single beds instead of the requested king bed and it couldn’t be changed. Room was also musty smelling but they did their best to deodorize and even worked on our air conditioning to fix the smell. This didn’t however deter from the enjoyment of the hotel, facilities and our holiday.

The lazy river swimming pool was cold

The room was amazing , exactly like the photos . Breakfast was awesome. Location is perfect close to beach and markets/shops . Someone at the entrance to help book activities and get taxis .

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were lovely and clean and we absolutely loved the pools.

The location is great - short walk to the beach but set far enough back from the main road that you don't hear any traffic noise. Lots of good eating places nearby. The rooms are spacious and the pool is beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a helpful tour desk on site.

The rooms were a bit dated/run down and the shower has low pressure and a dripping rain head shower. There were no insect screens on the balcony doors which meant you couldn't leave them open. The aircon in the room is really loud

The location was great, quick and easy access to transport, restaurants, shops, etc. The pool access rooms were a dream. The rooms were clean and neat and had an old school charm but needed better lighting.

Very limited options for breakfast and repetitive each day to the point that we skipped breakfast on some days. The hotel restaurant was sad and boring and staff in the restaurant were not friendly. I wish the hotel could do more about the mosquitoes and extend the pool hours.

larger than average room size ,air conditioning fantastic,beds so big and comfy,we had a walk in shower and separate bath, excellent swimming pools, breakfast you could not fault something for everyone's tastes,staff really helpful and nothing too much trouble ,shops and restaurants right on the doorstep.

The friendliness of the staff and the locals was welcoming. The resort was walking distance to practically everything you needed, but if you did need/want to venture out, there are always heaps of tuk tuk's and taxis around! The rooms were huge, plenty of space! The outlook was just amazing and the atmosphere was even better! Such a fantastic first overseas experience with the family, will definitely visit again!!!! Thank you Kata Palm 🌴 it was a truly amazing experience.

We pretty much loved everything about the place, just seems a bit odd to close the pool areas at 7pm. I understand they need to top up the chemicals and need to pay staff, but maybe even till 8pm? Make sure you get plenty mozzie repellent.

we stayed in a family room which was huge, plenty of room for the kids to move around, great bunk beds built into the room, and a huge bed for us. The swimming pools were all great. the staff were all really friendly, they always had time to stop and say hello, despite having limited English. the prices in the room mini bar were really good!

prepare yourself for a long check in for some unknown reason. strange that there isn’t a bar open in the evening to just get a drink. they seem to be building one out the front of the hotel but it wasn’t open every night.
