An absolutely fantastic location, just at the edge of the shopping street, directly on the promenade, with its own restaurant overlooking the lake. For the price, the hotel is incredible value. The rooms are very large for 1 person, extremely clean, well-furnished and have a large bathroom. Bikes can be stored in the inner courtyard which is quite safe (but exposed to the elements). The staff at check-in were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent as well. An incredible hotel for the price.

It was very, very hot and even with the window open, the room stayed very warm. There just isn't much airflow in the room (but this is true of most single hotel rooms). Otherwise, really nothing not to like.

Great location right on the lake. Good range of breakfast items. Helpful staff; We had come for a wedding and I was able to get my outfit ironed.

Location, location, location ….. the hotel was wonderful right on the edge of Lake Constance, the rooms were spacious and well appointed, the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very good.

Nothing really, would benefit from aircon being installed

Staff all friendly and helpful, also spoke English. Self serve breakfast. Good choice good quality. Room looked over the Lake. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Setting was beautiful. From reviews we wondered how the parking would go but very straightforward. Turn into the pedestrian zone / access only and park in front of the hotel and check in / bags to room, given a card, then park in enclosed car park, seemed very safe.

The only suggestion would be a kettle in the room.

Flair Hotel zum Schiff was a perfect choice for our stay in Meersberg on the Bodensee! Marta, Concierge and receptionist was great! She gave us clear and precise information about the many venues we wanted to visit, making everything very easy for us. The breakfast was awesome, especially the brotchens! The location, right on the waterfront, was exactly right. We had a wonderful view of the Bodensee, and easy walks to the ferry, the upper town, and the many restaurants. Lots of walking, much of it uphill, but great nonetheless. Highly recommend!

Warm Welcome. Clean Room. Clean Bathroom but something can be improved like the shower cabin. Parking Site (covered) at a 5 minutes walk. Good Position in front of Boden See. Good Breakfast and wide offer. A good place to stop.

It would have been great to enter in a warm room ... but it warmed up in about 30 minutes. Restaurant is a bit expensive but the food is fine ... Several good options for lunch and dinner are available in 2 to 5 minutes walk.

Great location right on the lake, room was comfortable and the breakfast, provided in a beautiful dining room overlooking the lake, was excellent. Paid-Parking (12 Euro/24 hours) was convenient even though it was 5-7 minute walk from the hotel.

Pillows (by North-American standards) were a little uncomfortable and no air-conditioning in the room.

Superbe little hotel really close from the Ferry from Konstanz and center of Meersburg. Nice personnel and pretty little rooms. Enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfast is very decent.

We had to book 2 Single rooms - yet, I and the wife could have easily stayed together in one room. The bed was queen-sized, enough for a married couple really? Just in terms of funds spent =)

The location of the hotel was fantastic - right on the water, a 5-minute walk to the castles, a less than 5-minute walk to the boats, and tons of restaurants nearby! Our room had a view of both castles. The breakfast had a good selection that was regularly replenished. Staff was very friendly. The on-site restaurant's food was great! The room size was very large, especially for Europe.

The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows go flat when you lay on them, but they are on par with the majority of European hotels where we have stayed. There is no on-site parking, but the reserved parking is only a 5-minute walk away. To access the parking garage, unload your luggage at the hotel, then they will give you the card and information to access the garage at Parkhaus im Weinberg (go to the hotel first!).

Fabulous view, great location and convenient

The person at the front desk that handled our reception was really unpleasant initially and rather brusque. The housekeeping staff was lovely though. Pillows were too soft and the sofa bed was a little hard.
