it was our second stay in this hotel - what can I say more ? :)
huge benefit is the quiet environment; shade of huge trees; the swimming pool; stylish look of the hotel, great location, nice breakfast; friendly helpful staff etc

The overall experience was good, the pool and the sauna was nice and the breakfast was versatile and delicious. The stuff was very friendly.
The bed was terrible. The mattress wanted to fall down from the bed itself every time I moved, and although we found an extra small pillow, the big pillow was so flat that it wasn’t comfortable. The toilet also wasn’t the best, because of the radiator it was hard to use, and the quality of the toilet paper was awful.

We arrived late because of rail delays and cancellations that day, but the night receptionist was pleasant and very helpful. Wine was needed and the bottle purchased was excellent value for money. The room itself was too cool to be comfortable, though the bed was. Bedroom temperature was warmer for the second night. Unfortunately we were 'out of season', only one other room was occupied and the lack of guests significantly marred the ambience within and at breakfast, which was adequate and at which staff provided a choice for hot food. Location was very convenient for the railway station.
The room was not serviced for the second day/night, the cool temperature of the bedroom on arrival, towels that had seen better days, ants in the bedroom [near the window] and the emptiness of the hotel; other than the proximity of the hotel to the Station, Balatonfoldvar lacks anything to support travellers! Do not go there out of season.

The hotel is located on a very pleasant street. The room was clean and comfortable. We were surprised that the price of one night's stay includes both breakfast and dinner. Both were buffet style and decent. We were able to leave our bikes overnight in the hallway in front of our room door.

Very well located, like 3 minutes walk from the beautiful lake, private parking, smiley staff, clean swimming pool. Food at breakfast and dinner was satisfactory.

room was comfortable and quiet. I as a good relax after along trip. Reception people was really very warm and helpful. Great assistance and good security.

The staff was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and with enough variety of options. You could eat in the garden and inside as well.

The only bad thing about the hotel is the room. The room was outdated and a little humid, there was a smell from the bathroom.

Nice hotel close to Balaton lake. Old fashioned style so it explains lack of lift. Tasty breakfast. Cheap closed parking.

Bogi!! She helped us figure out how to get back to the hotel when we missed the last boat from Tihany. On top of that, she saved us a plate of food since we’d be getting back late, past dinner. She really took care of us, even remembering my allergy and offering gluten free options at meals. She truly went above and beyond! The service and care was excellent.
The breakfast was also great! Lots of options.
The property is very nice - would be great for a family, lots of activities: pool, tennis, bikes for rent, walking distance to lake, easy to get to from the train.

Everything was above expectations! We were there after the tourist season ended, so it was quiet, clean, and very comfortable in all aspects. The breakfasts were excellent, and we loved the pool and the sauna.
