The location of this hotel was excellent…just at the base of the escalators leading to the historic centre. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were all very friendly. Delicious breakfast to start the day.

Reception area furnishing is outdated, but the rooms are modern, spacious and impeccable.

The size of the pool

They charge you 2.5 euros for each towel you use for the pool , this is something I haven’t seen before in 4 stars hotels I have been in. The room was not ready at 15:00 (the check in hour) , they gave me the room two hours later at 17:00.

Many things apart from the service. The hotel is old and I could hear footfalls from upstairs all the time, kids crying in rooms around us. The bed mattress was of very low quality.

Ok hotel, nothing special in what’s a beautiful place in Italy.

The room was BOILING hot when we arrived - turning on the air con before the guests arrive would be nice. Rooms are aged and out of time, instead of a double bed we got two singles. They were put together to a double on our request though. The breakfast room is cramped and overheated, with very little regard for changes in sanitary requirements and pandemic prevention. A well overpriced average hotel, I wouldn’t stay there again.
