The location. It was one the beach.

No communication between members of the staff. We arrived at the hour which we stated as a request during the reservation (it was confirmed from the property via email that our arrival time is "confirmed"). No one answered our phone calls. No one showed at the property by the time. We reached out to a phone number from google and a boy answered the phone. He said he was not there and the "manager" there should be at the property. No one was there. In an hour we At the end (after an hour at around 30 minutes past midnight) we found a woman who was the host of the property, she gave us a room for which we didnt pay. We paid for three single beds room and we got 1 single and one 1 and 1/2 person bed. One of the windows was broken (the frame) and it was not possible to close it. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. In the morning we asked her why she didnt gave us the room for which we paid, and she said she didnt knew which room was on the reservation

Bad electrical stoves

The cleaning lady who also works as a receptionist is very nice and polite and tried to make up for the fact we did not get the apartment we paid for.

We booked an apartment with 5 beds for 5 of us but got another one with only 4 beds, and the apartment we paid for (in advance, a mistake!) was occupied so there was no way to move. We asked for an extra bed, the answer was no. We were told that the beds are a bit bigger than usual single beds so the kid can sleep with us. We complained to Booking. com and he proceeded to send angry texts calling us liars and threatening. The owner changed their attitude and we were given the extra bed only after we complained to Booking.com again and sent them screenshots of the conversation. The apartments were dusty, which is not surprising considering there is only one cleaning lady for the whole place. She is nice and sweet, but not a superwoman. Mosquito nets are not on all windows.

The atmosphere is amazing, the location, authenticity and simplicity. Peace and tranquility - heaven. Iro is amazing, helpful, wants to help and always with a smile on her face.

Quiet location on the sea shore, with a lovely rock beach. Iro from reception was amazingly helpful with any requests. I stayed in the first room on the shore and enjoyed the loveyl seabreeze. Nice garden and benches, and cooking facilities. No frills comfortable stay with all of the necessities for a low key retreat.

We have been to Greece every summer on vacation, but every time it has been a different place. Until we have found out about Kalamos. We have been going to Kalamos every summer since then. The garden of the hotel Kalama is really big, nicely decoreted and it has a lot of romantic details. When you go through the garden, you enter a small, private beach. The sea is peaceful for swimming, it has a beautiful blue color and it is really clean. You can drink coffee in the garden by the sea, which is always a pleasant experience, because it is so peaceful. You can enjoy listening the sea waves near you. The place Kalamos is magical and it occupies your every sense. Apartments have everything you need. When you need some help , you can always ask the hotel owner. The staff is really kind and helpful. You really feel like you are at home. 6 km away from Kalamos is a lively place called Argalasti. A big city square, with a lot of tables and chairs, under the shade of old trees, is an amazing place for relaxing. I recommend it to anyone who want to enjoy in peace and in beautiful nature this part of Greece offers. Oh, and I have to mention that our kids, that are already grown ups, are still going to the seaside with us. Kalamos is that beautiful, peaceful, and you can rest and enjoy every moment spent there!

Without objection. The perfect vacation

We had a wonderful time in Kalama apartments. The accommodation was great, exactly fitting its description (as provided on the site). The sea is crystal clear. Kalamos village is an ideal place for people who want a peaceful vacation, because there is absolutely no events or parties- only the beach and the sea. Pelion is fantastic, and Effi (our amazing host) helped us explore it. Her advices are extremely helpful.

This has nothing to do with accommodation, but this year (after long 60 years) there was a lot of Jellyfish in the sea. That didnt stop us from having a great vacation though!

Comfortable rooms, nice location on the water

They didn’t clean my room even though I was there for 5 nights. The property is on the water but the beach was not usable due to rocks and sea urchins.
