Unfailingly friendly service by the staff/ family running the hotel. Very good value breakfast. Great location, overall good, friendly, safe vibe.

Room and bathroom not modernised/painted/maintained in a while. General cleanliness not overwhelming, some spider families felt very comfortable. Daily cleaning of our room found stained towels left on the floor for laundry folded back up for reuse and used tea cups left sitting around.

Excellent dinner and breakfast. fabulous staff.

Breakfast was excellent. Knowledge of special dietary requirements poor but great selection of food available. Proximity to the beach was much appreciated. The balconies off the rooms were a great addition.

No air conditioning but management did provide fans for the rooms. Decor is not typically French and exhibited some mild Asian influence.

booked a large room which turned out to be two rooms connected by a corridor. so I had two small rooms a corridor and bathroom, balcony was a smoking room (outside) asked for dinner they said wait outside by road on terrace and so had a beer. waited for one hour no one came to take my order. so came inside and waiter laughed when I said been waiting an hour.

Location ideal,food excellent,lovely people

The hotel was about 100 yards from a beautiful uncrowded beach and right on the velodysee. There were two good places to eat within a two minute walk or many more 3km away on the bike. There was an excellent breakfast with a huge variety of food and good coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was probably the best this holiday and we had a balcony with sea and garden view and lots of birds singing.

it’s a 5-10 min drive to Soulac centre and other restaurants etc….but no need to go there when the hotel restaurant is so good!

Good evening meal but the steak was a little tough. A shame because the food we have had at this hotel before was excellent.

Room was much bigger than expected. Very warm welcome from the staff. Secure parking.

We upgraded our room as it was my birthday. My husband asked the hotel to pro vide champagne and flowers whi h they ki dly did and added strawberries and chocolates which was a nice touch.

Food at breakfast all very sweet I don't have a sweet tooth, so plain croissants would have been nice but we were offered boiled eggs so not a complaint

Fantastic location a 2 minute walk from a vast beach. Staff went the extra mile to be friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with an excellent shower. We got the car ferry across to Royan next morning which knocked a couple of hours off our onward journey.

Bar prices seemed high but we had come from Spain so that may have made it more of a shock.

Stunning location at Amelia Beach. Lovely room with a balcony. Dinner nice but breakfast excellent .
