This was our 4th stay at Ilunion Hotel Malaga and it was as great as all the times before. The staff are wonderful, all of them. The ethos of this hotel is inclusion, sustainability & great service and it delivers on every level. The hotel faces the port of Malaga and has a busy main road in front of it, so if you want total silence, it’s not for you. We base in the hotel and have walked the entire city as it is so close to everything. Perfect for a city break. Ilunion’s rooms are generous, very well kept & if you pay a bit extra for the rooms facing the port, have great views. The pool, spa & gym facilities are all great & a chilled place to hang out after seeing the sights. Room service is charged extra but is worth it, they ask what you would like & they endeavour to cater for you.
The hotel is a no smoking policy hotel. They have one ashtray at the front of the main doors but there is no seating in that area.

La terraza de la habitación.
Llegue tarde y la habitación me parecía muy antigua y necesita una limpieza en cortinas, sofás… tenían muchas manchas. El cuarto de baño bastante antiguo con una bañera muy incómoda. Mis padres no podrían bañarse.

Nice feel as you walk in to reception.
Our room was a nice size and a comfortable bed.
Buffet breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice.
We didn’t like the advertising transfers stuck on the lift doors - they devalued the feel of the hotel.

Friendly helpful staff. Breakfasts were yummy and we all loved the fresh omelettes. Very clean and the furnishings were great. We enjoyed drinks in the bar in the evening and there were lots of choices at reasonable prices. The swimming pool and wellness area were an added bonus to our stay. This is my second visit to this hotel and I will happily return next time I want to visit Malaga

A little way out from the main shops and museum. However, easy to get a cab if you don’t want to walk.

Hacia un poco de frio en la zona de piscina climatizada, supongo estaría a 20 grados o algo así.
Tras realizar la reserva hemos consultado si tenían algún tipo de atención dado que era el fin de semana de mi cumpleaños y nos dijeron que no tenían nada pero que harían lo posible. Bueno, a fin de cuentas no hubo nada, ni una caja de bombones, ni botella de vino, ni naaaaa

Very clean and spacious. Good location, bit of a walk from the old town and port but that was fine. Beds were really comfy and breakfast was good too.
No sockets near the mirrors!

lovely hotel, attentive staff, Heated pool in November was very enjoyable for a late swim.
Both coffee machines were out of order at breakfast. Only coffee available was Pod machine where the queue was very long.

Great breakfast. Close to train station. 15 mins walk from historic centre. Lovely pool and spa. Really nice staff who let us check in earlyand use the pool after we checked out. Great for a short stay if you want to be near the station.
The area isn't as atmospheric as the centro histórico- though on the plus side you walk through slightly leas touristy areas on the way to the centre that you might otherwise miss.
