Located in the Oxfordshire countryside on a golf course. Friendly staff nice restaurant very good clean Spa.

Nice views.
Hotel in general is tired looking, spa is rundown. Atmosphere was weird and a bit soul less. For such an expensive stay it was underwhelming. Breakfast in particular was disappointing, cheap ingedients chucked at us, dreadful coffee. Wish we had stayed in a local pub.

the food was very poor for the price, i had a risotto which was covered in oil for some unknown reason.
the service was very slow, and they did not cater for children, but provide high chairs !

Bathroom towel rail whistled (sounded like a ghost train for the night until we found it and turned it off!)

The first view of the hotel was impressive with a good size accessible car park. The reception staff was very pleasant and informative and always helpful.
It was nice to have your breakfast cooked to order with no queuing at service stations.
The hotel what we experienced was a little tired and in need of some TLC.
The cost of food in the restaurant and room service was in my opinion over priced.
