The location of the house is just breathtaking the view from every window is just amazing. The farmhouse is perfect, secure and well equipped. Alella is a really lovely village with lots of nice restaurants and bars, all very family friendly. Mok is a great host, very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some great recommendations. We have a great trip and will hopefully visit again in the future.

We celebrated my mothers 80th birthday in Spain. She wanted to go to Europe, so we chose Spain. After spending 4 fabulous days in Barcelona ( I could move there tomorrow ), we traveled only 25 minutes to the beautiful town of Alella. The views, the home, the location, the owners, the hiking, were all sensational. I could live here as well! Views- Castles, mountains, vineyards; all wonderful. Home- An updated 15th century farmhouse. It has all the bells and whistles. Plenty of room for up to 10 people with plenty of space. Location- Walk to a great town, wine bars, restaurants, friendly people, a local bakery, a farmers market. I could go on and on...........25 minutes to Barcelona and about the same by train. Also, convenient for day trips to other areas. No favorites. We liked them all and could have easily just stayed at the farmhouse, and that would have been fine. Owners- It was like having a private concierge. Any time we had a question or needed a recommendation, within seconds we would have a text WITH a link. They were AWESOME! Hiking-The property, which is about 30 acres, abuts National Forests with great trails and views. We really enjoyed this convenience. I wish we hiked more. We highly recommend this property. We could give it 10 stars, if we were able to.

From the very beginning, the owners communicated perfectly. It was obvious, they wanted our group of 10 to have a great stay. With 10, this 15th century farmhouse updated to a 21st century home, was perfect with 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Plus, Alella is a 25 minute drive to Barcelona and another 15 minutes to the airport. Alella is a great, quaint town with restaurants, shopping, and close to public transportation. As an added bonus, we could walk to town. And, Alella and the surrounding towns offered 9 wineries within 15 minutes. More about the house- AC, two pools, plenty of space with just the right amount of amenities, amazing views of castles and the country side. If you like to hike, the house abuts a national forest and you could actually hike to Barcelona! I absolutely could live here. More about the owners- Every time I had a question or needed a suggestion, the owners sent me a detailed text with a link. We had a private concierge. The owners were great! We would highly recommend this hone. Perfect for groups, family reunions, friends get-together. Before we left, I contacted a realtor and also asked the owner to keep a lookout for a property for my family and me. We will definitely visit again and look forward to a return to Spain. Without hesitation, we will rent this house again. Thank you for a great 10 days, Mok and Rolf.
