We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen. Er stond thee en koffie met zelfgemaakte taart klaar. Keurige kamer. Alles leek vrij nieuw en was keurig in orde. Leuke kamer. Het ontbijt was heel uitgebreid en wederom een zeer hartelijke bediening. Dichtbij in Dijon is een groot overdekt winkelcentrum met diverse eetgelegenheden. Deze waren tot 22.00 uur open. Daar vlakbij was tevens een pompstation
Eigenlijk niets. Alles was prima verzorgd. Zeker een aanrader!

Friendly staff who spoke English, Nice comfortable and clean room with AC, and a great french breakfast with freshly made scrambled eggs. We had a very enjoyable time ^^
The only negative we have is that we could not open the window/balcony door due to the lack of insect protection. However this wasn't much of an issue with the included AC :)

We arrived very late in the evening due to heavy traffic and our host greeted us warmly. She offered to help with our bags, offered us a drink etc. Plenty of parking located right outside the hotel. Breakfast was perfect with a variety of fresh bread, croissants, delicious homemade jam, a selection of cold meats and cheeses as well as large selection of fresh fruit and cereals. Our room was perfect with a comfortable bed for my husband and I along with our 5 year old sleeping on a large single bed. Large bathroom with shower. Both the bathroom and bedroom were clean and well appointed. There is even a sun filled garden terrace were you can have your breakfast in the morning. They also have a small shop where the hosts sell local produce. Our host even directed us to local a petrol station so that we could avoid paying the expensive motorway prices. We will definitely come back to stay for longer. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

The location is very quiet and feels very safe. The option of an evening meal was very welcome after a long journey, although this is not available every day. There was coffee and cake also available. The hostess was very accommodating and even advised us of where we could get cheaper fuel for our onward journey.
The only downside in the room was lack of available sockets for plugging in phone chargers.

Great selection of food available for breakfast! The host even packed some croissants and baguettes for the journey after breakfast was finished :) We also got some souvenirs from the host! Amazing attention to detail! We also appreciated the availability of drinks (soft and alcoholic) at the waiting area and free cake and hot drinks on arrival.
We have been offered help with luggage unpacking / packing.
The property owners are very passionate about their business, and it shows!
I can honestly recommend this little B&B to everybody! It is a hidden gem! :)
Not much to say here really.... but there is one funny bit, being the bedding was so well starched, that every move in the bed generated some rustle that was on the verge of waking us up :D :D :D
On the flip side though, this again shows how clean and well maintained the B&B is!
It's an excellent choice for one (or more) nights.

This is ideal for visiting Dijon without being in the city hustle and bustle. Rooms were nice, beds very comfortable, bathroom spacious, breakfast good and generous. And Simone was the friendly and very helpful host you can only dream of.

We stayed for two nights . Simone was outstanding, looked after us both so well. The breakfast, room and location are all great . It was extremely clean . I would not hesitate to stay at this establishment again.

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay
We loved everything about our stay from the welcome, the evening meal and the room everything was great our host spoke English which was great as my French is only enough to get by, the breakfast had everything from local cheese to cereals we particularly like the fridge in the dining area that had wines and beers to choose from which was just perfect after our long drive

The host was great and very accommodating, Breakfast was lovely, simply a great place for a stop over or a few days to enjoy the area. We travelled for the 1st time with a baby and it was a great experience staying here

It is an exceptional hotel: extremely nice host, stylish big recently-renovated rooms, and amazing breakfast. We were lucky to get a dinner there as well - can definitely recommended it.

What a discovery - I thoroughly recommend Ame de la Terre if you are looking for a hotel near Dijon. I only stopped for one night on this occasion but I will definitely be going back. I am very grateful for the warmth of the welcome, for a really lovely room and for the best breakfast I have had in a hotel, perhaps ever!!!! Can't wait to get the dreaded Covid out of the way and I will be going back with my wife for a really good break.
