Great private terrace with an incredible view, calm area, comfortable bed, fridge in the room, good location in the middle of the village

The host doesn't speak a word of English and wasn't really trying to understand us although we tried to communicate with the few words of Spanish we know. Also be aware that it is very steep to reach the location from the bus stop as well as from the beach (but that will be the case at most places within the village)

Centrally located, tasteful and spotlessly clean, Mari Carmen works tirelessly to keep everything in good order. She is a wonderful host, very friendly, charming and funny. Comfortable room and bathroom with all amenities but maybe on the small side for 2 guests. However the terrace was enormous with great views over the village and to the mountains (photo attached of one of the sunnier mornings), I'd definitely stay again. Thank you for everything Mari Carmen.

Only the weather.

The location was very good, next to the main market of the village and a short walk from the beach of Salobreña. The room was big enough, the terrace was huge with amazing mountain views, literally the view was such a relaxing beauty. The room counts with a small fridge and a balcony table and chairs.

It could be a bit cleaner, there was some dust here and there due to the low season I guessed. Not a big drama!

Friendly staff and good location for walking around town. bed was comfortable and well looked after. Room and shower were clean. Cheap!

Noise from the entrance hall travels upstairs as there's no partition between the areas. The owner and staff seem to start talking very loudly at around 8am-8.30am, so you can say goodbye to sleep, which isn't good if you couldn't get enough! Sound proofing is not very good, so you can hear those above and to the side talking, going to the toilet and walking around. Other guests are not very considerate at times (coming and going well after midnight), which in a place like this, means noise travels very far. The bleach used for the toilet has a horrible smell. No tea or coffee facilities. No fridge.

The warmth and hospitality oozed out of Pension M Carmen! Actually felt like I was visiting family! The bedroom itself was clean if a little basic but there was a sink a wardrobe, a kettle and a fridge in the room but the jaw dropping beautiful surprise came when I stepped out onto my own seriously sizeable balcony with views to die for! There are more expensive options to stay in the town with no private outdoor space, seriously impressed.

Nothing, it was a great stay. Maria never had a bottle of bleach or a mop out of her hand, beyond clean. Loved it

Very friendly owners. We were allowed to spend 2 nights with our baby in a large holiday flat with terrace and view. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the beach. A shop (Coviran) is also close by. We will be very happy to come back

Everything else. Extremely happy. Will book again if I around there. I love the terrace. Very good views.

I booked a room with private bathroom. I got a room with shared bathroom. As there was other guest sharing the bathroom, I was on with it.

we were just for 1 night there. but we´d love it.
