This is nice but quite basic hotel. The staff and owners are super nice. We arrived late after a long trip and the kitchen was already closed. The owner immediately offered to make us sandwiches. Within minutes he prepared two nice plates of food for us. Our room was located on the third floor and without an elevator carrying our luggage upstairs was quite a chore. The room was clean with basic but tasteful furniture. The bed was as one finds in most similar hotels in Germany, consisted of two single beds put together equipped with 2 short blankets, but was European style comfortable. They provide no soap or shampoo so bring your own. Our room's window was facing the street which is a route used by truckers and so it was noisy. In addition they were repairing the road outside and so there was an additional noise for the paving machinery. The hotel's nearest town is Alpirsbach, a nice small town offering restaurants and other facilities. Alpirsbach is approximately 5-6 miles down a narrow winding road through the woods. Nothing in the immediate neighborhood. I join other guests commending the breakfast. A very rich and generous spread of breads, a variety of cheeses, sausages, eggs, cereals, etc. Enough for everyone to find plenty for a good breakfast.

Really friendly owners, and even if they didn't speak that much English, the communication went perfectly! One from the staff even spoke Swedish! Really good aswell. :) Good service and was treatet very pfofessionally and felt that I was welcommed. Travelled by motorcycle, and the owner let me use their garage to store it overnight. The room was very clean and nice, and the bathroom was good, renovated and clean. This room had access to a shared balcony, where you can relax and just "be". Food was good, but the main course I ordered could've been a little more seasoned. But it went all down! The location was perfect for my needs, and there is a nearby supermarket in the next town, just a few minutes away. They had really cute goats as neighbours too. I travelled solo, but I saw that there was cool little bicycle carts in the back, for kids (maybe). I would definitly recommend this place, and visit again if I ever pass the region.

Nothing in particular, except that the toilet was kind of close to the wall infront of you. If you're bigger than me, that could be an issue. :)

The place is wonderful. Is near the forest and if you are going to stay in holidays in order to get some peace. Is highly recommendable. I was astonished for the amount of stars that you can see in the sky.

The design of the bathroom is a little bit unconfortable. However is a minimum detail because the room is quiet and confortable. Maybe is important to take in consideration that the internet fluctuates a lot

Family hotel, cozy environment, very nice atmosphere. The owners were very kind. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant and there was plenty of options for breakfast in the buffet. We recommend this place 100%
