Excellent hosts, with loads of local knowledge. Very quiet and secluded yet effortless access to ValD’Isere and Tignes. Very comfortable stay without any pressure at all.

Owners are great ambassadors to Val D'Isere. So helpful to pick out restaurants and hiking trails. Breakfast was nice with fresh boiled eggs.

Traveling by car from Geneva on Feb 11th took more than 5 hours. Need more frequent train service. Note: Return took less than 3 hours.

Amazing hosts, nothing to much trouble. Great steam Jacuzzi and Sauna for after skiing. Highly recommend , even though it was 2 minutes out of town on the bus. This was made easy with the regular flow of buses. used the app for bus times . Great slopes this side plus fun skiing across the connecting areas.

The hotel is located in an exceptionally quiet village just a short distance from Val d'Isere. It's tastefully decorated throughout with plenty of natural wood and stone. The staff are beyond helpful, even providing advice and making dinner reservations at a local restaurant to ensure we had a table during peak summer season. There are walking and bike riding trails that pass through the village as well as being located very close to ski lifts.

For us there were no negative points though parking is not directly next to the hotel. There was plenty of parking at the edge of the village which is perhaps a 200m walk. The hotel allow temporary parking in front in order to drop off bags.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Stephane and everyone at Chalet Hotel Du Fornet were outstanding. Breakfast was excellent, diverse and the staff very approachable, the on site facilities were well equipped to help with skiing/snowboarding needs at any time, the spa and hot tub after a long day on the slopes exceeded all expectations and the final cherry on top was how accomodating and helpful everyone was, all the way to seeing us out in the early hours for our transfer to Geneva. My friends and I could not recommend Chalet Hotel Du Fornet enough for anyone planning to visit Val D'Isere.
