The Artist Quarter is a gorgeous guesthouse, with the magnificent Tzefat charm. The location is so well placed, quiet and serene yet so close to all synagogues and the center of town. We visited with children. Would definitely go back!! The food is delicious and served so Graciously. The rooftop view is magnificent. A real highlight of our trip!

I'm so happy to find the very closest to perfect property to stay, now and also for future visits to Tzfat! Joy and Evan were among the most nicest hosts I've ever met. And I travel a lot! Both are very friendly, helpful and welcoming in every manner. The guesthouse is at prime location almost on top of the Tzfat hill, great views from the rooftop terrace. Easy and free public parking a few meters away. Close to everything needed like groceries, restaurants etc. Guests would receive upfront a comprehensive and helpful description how to get to the guesthouse. Immediately fell in love with the Appartment/Suite. Not only it is immaculately clean and well appointed with everything that makes life easy. It was really designed (and artsy too) to create a cosy and real home away from home. Would love to come back in a second! BTW: The pictures at booking.com are real and would mirror the real impressions of the property at it's best. In reality it looks even more better. The breakfast is fantastic, and Joys Omelettes (with cheese !!) next level, just from another universe. And so are the bread rolls from my new fav bakery ;-) While Evan would take his time and sit with you after your delicious breakfast and mark sights worth visiting according to your plans and interests on a personal map for you. The guesthouse is a little oasis in Safed and the hosts are very friendly and supportive. The breakfast is individual. Free parking is in 3min walking distance.

The hosts were amazing. My husband and I felt like we were staying with friends. Each morning we were brought generous home cooked Israeli breakfasts with delicious breads, and spreads, a choice of eggs and wonderful brewed coffee. Also, Evan, our host was happy to advise us of places to see and give directions. Also, he was generous with his time and gave us help in every way we needed. We ate outside in a courtyard of a historical building. Inside, our one bedroom accommodations had everything we needed to be comfortable. The shower was strong and the beds were comfortable. We were in a stone house from Ottoman era. The location was excellent. it was very close to the shopping section where we bought seltzer, fruits and vegetables and nearby to the synagogues and old artist quarter stores and old historical synagogues. One caution is that most everything in Tzfat requires going up and down steps. We look forward to return.

Staying in this apartment in the old city old city of Tzfat is like stepping back in time, but will all the conveniences of modern life. The room was large and comfortable and the hosts made everything feel like we were staying with family. They were available for any questions and the fridge was stocked with some basics of food and drinks.
