We absolutely love this property! Beautiful pool and close to the beach, perfect! Only complaints are master bedroom bed was very very uncomfortable and the ceiling fan wouldn’t work.

Perfect rental for rest and relaxation!

Pros: great location, close to the beach, clean house, plenty of towels and blankets provided. Lots of beach gear available also. Pool was clean. Cons: air was broken when we arrived, fixed the first day. Incorrect internet information was given and we were not able to access WiFi the entire time. When trying to contact the owner it felt like pre crafted responses were given and did not help. Alarms on the bottom level go off no matter what you do when the doors open. There were many light bulbs that needed to be replaced.

We enjoyed having the heated pool. The home is a few minute walk to the beach. Everything was clean and as expected. Not listed in the description was a game room with a downstairs bathroom and shower. Great to have that extra shower if several people are staying. Beds were very soft, no firmness (so depends on your preference) Plenty of towels for pool and showering. Kitchen supplies were sufficient for the stay. Keurig available for coffee. Ice and water dispenser does not work on refrigerator but the ice maker does work, just need to open door on freezer to get ice. We did find a counter top ice maker in the pantry later in our stay. Several outdoor chairs were broken, so be careful when sitting. There were chairs available to take to the beach. We did not use them because I had arranged for chair and umbrella rental from a beach supply rental company. Cooler was aLeo available to use ( it was in the game room) Overall great stay and would love to stay here again.

I really hate that I must write this review. Below are the incidents that made this the worse vacation rental my family has ever used with no exaggerations. Untimely the property management company Vacasa is the issue. Sadly, we had nowhere else to stay and couldn’t leave. Disappointment is not a big enough word on my daughters 11th bday trip. 1. The house was 93 degrees upon arrival. The air conditioning set to 90 degrees and the house was unbearably hot at 93 degrees. Immediately reached out and was unable to reach a live person. I ended up texting with someone that gave me canned responses and we had to manually reset AC and pray it would work. 2. The fridge did not work and was melted inside when we arrived. The door did not stay closed, and we had to buy ice to keep the food from spoiling. The ice and water did not work and the touchpad was broken. Again, we received canned message saying they are reaching a local team. The fridge needs replacement. No one came to see about the issue. 3. The internet and cable did not work. We had to leave someone home all day to wait for cable company to come and fix it. All while on vacation. 4. The guest room tv is broken with lines running through the screen. Obviously broken for quite some time and never bothered to be replaced. 5. The pool was dirty, and we had to clean it ourselves in order to use it. 6. Master bedroom bed is collapsing on one side and extremely uncomfortable.

We had a fantastic time. Love the neighborhood love the beach.

Needs maintenance on property, broken frame on mattress, all need replacement. Bedding very inadequate with only a throw for a blanket on one queen bed. Bedding not reflective of pictures on listing. Location is great and could be a good rental with a few repairs and kitchen supplied with some basics, teaspoons, pizza cutter, sink drain and functioning auto ice maker.

The house is located just blocks away from the beach and bay. The house was the perfect size for a couple and dogs.

The overall location is nice of the house, beach entrance near the home, but that’s really where it ends. We had troubles entering the home so had to call Vacasa to get the lockbox on the stairs open to get keys. The house has so many needed maintenance repairs. The dishwasher had mold all over the bottom of the inside. The smell was horrible. We called to let them know about this and they did nothing but send a guy at the end of our stay unannounced to measure for a new one. The wash machine has a bunch of mold and mildew in it also. The dryer does not dry clothing/items unless you run it 3 times. Many of plates/glasses were dirty in the cabinets. They don’t have enough supplies for the kitchen- no grilling utensils, no mixer, quality of sheet pans is extremely low. Many decorative items in the house are broken or worn. The arm of the couch is broken and the couches in general are terrible and worn. So many people have mentioned a few of these items and they don’t fix or correct them. The bathrooms had rusted in fixtures, all pool noodles/floats/accessories were ripped and broke, mattresses and pillows low quality and sheets were stained. The outdoor white plastic furniture was so filthy it was raised up with dirt. The pool had a vent that was suctioning injured a guest, huge safety hazard. The worst part is I kept in contact with Samantha from Vacasa about all of our issues and sent many pictures and no response. No one called to discuss or even had a care, especially Samantha. It’s very disappointing to spend almost 5 thousand and to get such lousy customer service and also low quality. If they would fix up the house and also had good customer service the house would be an ideal rental. I would error with caution on this rental until they fix a lot of the concerns.

Well the house was ok. The wifi was bad also been so far into the end of the island phone reception was bad. Cleanliness was not the best the bed had some stains. The pool was a little cloudy and we were there for 3 days no one cleaned it. Also our last night the AC stops working and we had to sleep at 86F temp because no one from Vacasa showed up to fix it. They gave a 50 dollars credit for that which I thought was ridiculous. I am a repeat customers for many years. But I am definitely thinking on showing another rental company.

The house is nicely decorated and clean. The pool is shaded in afternoons, which is nice after a hot day at the beach. Bedrooms are nice size. Nice location to restaurants/businesses. The cons: sofa in family room needs to be pitched. It is falling apart with no structure left. Very uncomfortable! Mattresses need replacing. Dishwasher is moldy. My husband started cleaning it and remembered he was on vacation. One sink in master bath clogged. Outdoor shower head does not work properly. We could not get into house using the code and had to use keys in lockbox, which meant everyone had to carry keys so no one was getting locked out. Higher price of this house compared to other houses we've stayed in, these should not be issues! A few simple changes could make this a 5 star rating for us.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach. We had some issues getting into the unit. The keypad is updated, the management company's text system did not have the correct instructions, and we did not receive a code for the lockbox. This was fixed with one phone call. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues with the property. These were corrected very quickly by the management company, Vacassa. They were very quick to respond and communicate. The mattresses are firm, very firm. My sleep number is 20, so this was a big change for me, but I slept fine. Overall this was a great property in a great location, we would stay their again.

We had a great time. The pool and deck were amazing (& pool was warm!), the beach is just a few blocks away (Bean Point is the best beach on the island!), and the neighborhood is very peaceful. The house is very comfy. The bedroom beds are a bit small (full size not queen), but the whole house is cozy and super clean. The kitchen and living areas are larger than expected and nice to relax in. We would love to stay here again.

The good: The location of this property is awesome--short walk to the beach, quiet street, and walkable to Pine Ave. We also rented a golf cart which was a nice option to get to the shops/restaurants on Pine Ave as well. The layout of the house was nice as well, and kitchen and bathrooms were updated and clean. The bad: We paid the daily extra fee for the pool to be heated to 85 degrees, and were really disappointed that not only was it not heated, but it was set and locked at 70 degrees--a full 10 degrees below what is advertised in the listing. We had difficulty getting ahold of the local office--tried calling and messaging through the number for Vacasa listed on the VRBO listing three times the first morning we were there. Not what you want to be spending your time doing on a girls weekend. By the time we got ahold of someone at the local office it was in the afternoon and they weren't able to get some out out to heat the pool on a weekend (and it would've taken the rest of our stay to heat it 15 degrees). They did refund us the pool heating fee plus $100. Another weird/annoying thing was that the house alarm went off a few times when we were trying to use the keypad to unlock the door to get in. There was no mention of an alarm or a code, so we just had to wait it out until it stopped. A few maintenance issues: The ice machine in the refrigerator didn't work and a bag of ice was left in the freezer for us, which was nice, but not enough ice compared with what you'd get with a working ice maker. The mini blinds downstairs in the game room were chewed up and broken by someone's pet and not repaired yet.

Absolutely Beautiful! Clean and Comfortable. Loved the pool. Great location. Walking distance to the Gulf and Bean point. Close to shops and restaurants. Will be back for another La Raya Retreat!!

Great location, beautiful property, we had an amazing time.

Two blocks from the beach at Bean Point and three blocks from the Rod & Reel Pier. Very large open area/kitchen for eating and socializing. Bedrooms were good-sized and comfortable. Pool was nice after a full day at the beach although the light in the pool did not work.

Titles says it all. Located in the northern tip of the island, close to multiple beach access points and our favorite hang out spot, Rod & Reel Pier. We have been to AMI several times and love the beach area called Bean Point and specifically looked for a house close to Bean Point and Rod & Reel. Nice pool and peaceful backyard with plenty of seating, both shaded and in the sun. Fun lower level game room for when you need a break. House was clean and welcoming. Property Management team was quick to reply to the few questions I had. Would definitely stay again.

This home is beautiful and clean. It sits just a block away from the ocean and has many amenities. I've used VRBO for decades & have always been happy with the quick communication between myself & the owners of the properties. I emailed this owner a few times before our trip with questions & I never received any answers. Upon arrival, the key pad didn't work. The backup lock box code wasn't working either. We had to contact the management for new codes. There was only one key in the lock box once we got in there. This was all we had for 4 adults to use because the keypad was still not working. Once we entered we found one bathroom had not even been cleaned. Urine was on the toilet seat and an old towel was on the rack. Management waved our cleaning fee but this is still upsetting to walk into especially after we had such a hard time even getting in. The dryer took hours to dry our towels. We found a mound of sand in the trap. Only one laundry packet was available & I was told there would be 2. All of these things are little and easy to overlook if they were an isolated issues but all of them in just a matter of a few hours was really disappointing considering the amount of money we spent to rent the home. It really is beautiful and it has a lot of offer. I hope it is managed better in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The proximity to the beach was fantastic. The property was stellar for our large, kid laden family. Plenty of space, and very comfortable. Our only complaint is that the dryer does not dry well and we often had to put our laundry on the deck railing to dry.
