Great place to stay in Gran Tarajal! Apartments were very cozy and clean, had everything you need for a pleasant stay. Everything is very near. Check in is very easy and the host Maria is wonderful -- she even sent some restaurants and places to visit recommendations. Would totally recommend for friend groups or families.

The nearby bakery and the restaurants

No proper address to find the flat, no welcome until the next day. My wife whose mother tongue is english, was asked by the owner if she could understand english. What a pretention from a woman speaking with a strong accent. As you can see from the outside, the building has several kinds of flats with or without balcony . However, n the Booking La Farmacia site, there is only one kind of flat advertised for reservation. It appears with a balcony . The confirmation of our reservation came with a photo of a flat with a balcony (see the photo joined) ; we thus expected to find a balcony, this was not the case and we could not change it. Thus If this person owns flats of different standards , they should appear on her Booking page. So be aware.

The apartment was quite comfortable and surprisingly big. There's a nice sunny living room with big windows and street view. Everything was very clean. Collecting keys was very easy (lockbox next to the door) and all communication with the lady manager was quick and clear, and she was very kind and helpful :) Gran Tarajal is quite quiet and calm town, with no big hotels or picturesque beaches, therefore there's not many tourists, mostly locals, which was nice - and at the same time it's central location allowed us to easily travel to many beautiful places (like Betancuria and surrounding mountains), attractions (like the zoo in La Lajita) and beaches (like Playa de Sotavento or playas in La Pared or Ajuy). Great spot if you don't like crowded tourist zones!

The only thing we'd like to be better are small everyday commodities - it would be great to have some basic stuff available in the apartment, the kind that you don't want to buy just for a few days of stay: salt, pepper, olive, washing powder etc. It would be nice to have a few more tableware items (the apartment was for 4 people, so there was 4 forks, 4 spoons etc. - a bonus one would make visitor's life much easier :) ). But it's really small details, it didn't weight much :)

Great apartment in the town center. 50m to the beach, shops and restaurants. The place is super nice, clean and equiped with everything you need. The town is lovely, not very turistic and thats great. Amazing stay!

Location and an apartment was great, but the balcony was not useful. You could not dry laundry, because it was too small and with no sun at all. A few days there was no hot water in the shower.

Great localisation, next to sea and restaurants. Kitchen has everything you need - brilliant! Great terrace with beautiful view. Big apartment and champagne as a welcome gift! Face masks and cleaner was also a really nice gift.

We had ordered separate beds in room, but it was one bed under the other. After we opened second bed, there was no space in room at all. Set of chairs in terrace leave stain on clothes. Everything instead of that was ok.

Super comfy apartment in the center of Gran Tarajal. 200m away from the city beach, big supermarket round the corner, very close to restaurants and cafés along the promenade. Beds were comfy, linen was good quality, the double bed is bigger than the average ones, and rooms were spacious. Kitchen very well equipped. Facilities were exactly as expected.

The boiler for the hot water takes a while to reheat before the next person can take a hot shower. Towels could be softer.
