Lovely house with comfy beds and all facilities you need. A short walk to Hayfield and a nice pub with good food just a couple of hundred metres away. I loved being so near great walking!

Wonderful cottage that has everything needed for a week-long stay. Ideally located for travel to Manchester, Nottingham and Leeds. Local historic estate - Lyme Park - is only 20 minutes away. Friendly host and cottage is spotlessly clean. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Wonderful location with walks literally outside the front door. Close to a local pub with good pub grub, 20 minutes easy walk into the main village with more pubs and eateries. The cottage is immaculately clean, warm and comfortable. Good bed, lovely bed linen & towels. A new bathroom has been installed since the photos on website with a fab shower over the bath. Great log burner in lounge. Overall really smashing. Dianne was so helpful with snow updates which closed the village the morning of our arrival and guided us in so we could arrive in the afternoon. Thank you - we loved our stay..Great biscuits too.

There was nothing we didn't like apart from the weekend coming to an end 😂

We loved this place so much, super comfy and warm, crisp linens and towels, great wood fire stove and a kitchen equipped with anything you might need. Full laundry facilities (washer/dryer), patio front and back, beautiful views and wonderful walks at the doorstep. Super quiet too! The worst bit about recommending it is that it might be booked up next time we want to stay over.

Wifi speed is slow to none, we mostly used our 4G connection for internet which worked fine.

Parking can be a but tight

Gorgeous cottage. Nothing more to say. Highly recommended.

There is a problem with parking space. If you have a big car it can be an issue.
