Shared bathrooms!!! I wouldn’t have stayed there had the hotel description been a little clearer with pictures!!!

Nice renovate roadside hotel, the only one in Bochum area with prices below EUR 70 - great option for travellers on budget. Recently renovated rooms, large parking lot and really helpful owner. You get what you pay for - clean room with two beds, fresh and new pillows and sheets, sink in the room, clean toilets and showers in the hallway. Don't expect luxury, but Bon Marche Bochum is better than several places in town which advertise their comfort, charge around EUR 70, and you get the same basic room - but here in Bon Marche it was sparkling clean. Automatic check in for those arriving late. The owner goes above and beyond when you need any help. I have travelled to Bochum many times this year, but budget-wise this is the only reasonable option, if your company is not paying your bills :) Good transport connections: 6 minutes walk to U-Bahn + bus stop 100 metres from hotel.

The cheapest hotel in Bochum, short walk from U-bahn with bus stop in front of the hotel. Very simple, mostly for one-night stays, but If you're on budget, it's almost two times cheaper than other hotels in town. Friendly staff and good Wi-Fi. Bed was ok.

No disappointment from my side - but read hotel info carefully before booking. There is a sink in every room, but 6 toilets and 6 showers on each floor. More hostel-type accommodation with single and double roomas, so don't expect comfort.

The bed was crawling with insects. There was no staff available at all for 7 hours during the night and no one to call to get a different room. Had to sit in the infested room for 7 hours. At least 15 bugs all over the sheets, absolutely disgusting.
