The natural beauty and solitude / privacy. The infinity pool, breakfast (selection and setting), the balcony and sun beds, access (albeit steep and rocky) to the private swimming cove and just the way the property ‘sits’ in its natural surrounds make for a wonderful experience.
Everything was outstanding. Another opportunity for platitudes - the small town Armenistis is a 5 min easy walk from Toxotis and has a gorgeous local beach and a couple of excellent and authentic Greek tavernas - the calamari, anchovies and moussaka are top notch!

Our stay was too good to be true. The spacious room with access to the shore was amazing. The pool area was very pretty and the breakfast outstanding. We stayed only for 2 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. Manager was very friendly and the rest off the staff as well. All requests were answered with a smile. Top class.

Views more beautiful than the pictures! It was such a relaxing stay! We spent 2 nights here for our honeymoon and we couldn’t be happier. The lady at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating, she was able to get us reservations at the best restaurant at a short notice. We had tons of delicious local restaurants near by but the breakfast here at Toxotis was the BEST, so fresh and delicious! The sea is a few steps down and we did a small easy hike down to get a closer look. Since this is family owned and there is only 11 rooms, they really tender to each guest like family. The room was really big and spacious, the bed was comfortable, the patio was so nice with a view of the pool, and the entire place is so clean and organized.
The rooms could use a bit of updating but we still loved staying here.

Parking can be a little tricky especially if you need to carry heavy baggage to the rooms, given the property grounds are quite steep.

Location was great, staff was helpful and friendly, great breakfast, great pool area…excellent place to stay.
Guy playing music was too loud and played the same techno beat music over and over. Was very annoying when trying to relax at pool.

Location is excellent, walkable to restaurants, grocery store. Hotel room was really nice with beautiful terrace, sea view. Bed was comfortable. Housekeeping, lawn care all excellent.
Limited reception hours. Not all open, no pool bar.

We took the largest room because it was all that remained. The room was magnificent but for us, far better value (and better layout) are the villas where we stayed previously.
No hooks or towel rails to hang towels to dry. €1.50 per Nespresso pod is crazy. First hotel/villa in Greece with no ‘welcome’ bottle of wine on arrival.

The location is superb. The sea view unique. The staff very efficient and friendly.
An inside lock to the net door would be very adviseable in order to breath fresh air while sleeping.

We stayed in the maisonette and the view, facilities and terrace were great! The pool area is really nice with comfortable beds. Location is perfect; within 5 minutes walk you are in the village with restaurants and a supermarket. Parking space available.
The matras of the bed was a bit hard; but that is personal.

The villas have a breathtaking view on the sea and you can hear the waves from your bed. They are also very cozy and clean. The staff is most helpful with every kinds of matter. For example, they organised a Covid test for us that we had to take before leaving. The breakfast is magnificent for only 5 euros per person and the swimming pool is in line with the sea. I am sure that you reader will enjoy this stay and keep a vivid memory of it
I think the faculties are very new and clean which is of course good but the only tiny plus would be some elements of charm such as paintings on the wall or colourful elements here and there. The bar at the swimming pool was also closed for the summer which I see as a missed opportunity. But then again, the staff will find you a beer if you need one, maybe from the cafe next door.

This was my second time staying at Toxotis. Truly, everything is really lovely. The landscape is stunningly beautiful. We love sleeping to the sound of the Aegean waves. It’s the cleanest and most comfortable place we’ve experienced in Ikaria!
Screens for the bedroom and all the windows would be nice especially during summer.

Amazing place. Toxotis is not just luxury, it is so much more and beyond luxury.
The Vilas we stayed in was perfect. Very homey feeling. Very nice and very good equipped kitchen. Beautiful rooms and perfect veranda with furniture.
The view and surroundings is a history of its own. It's almost impossible to take you self away from the view and the noise of the waves hitting the rocks beneath, is addictive.
The pool area is beautiful. And words can describe it. So peaceful and friendly atmosphere. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed the stay. As a cabin crew I have stayed in many hotels, this one easily is one of the best.

In this hotel you will get the impression of staying at your own little house by the cliffs with amazing views of the aegean sea. Esthetic details in the deco, show that the owners really wanted to create a welcoming atmosphere to make it feel like home. The service is excellent and the owners also offer cars for rental, which they will be providing for pick-up upon arrival at the (air-)port. Obviously, the suites are very clean and the staff cares extra for hygiene, to guarantee a covid-free experience. Due to covid-19, the breakfast buffet is not included ATM, but for a small fee you will be served breakfast in your room daily.

Relaxing small scale complex with great sea and sunset views. Great salt water pools. Villas well-equipped and easy parking. Although you'll need a car on Ikaria (if you want to go around that is), the island's best beaches are within walking distance.
As no breakfast is served (not sure if this was due to COVID) you may want to bring along/buy a few basics to use in your fully equipped kitchen (e.g. coffee & filters, salt & pepper etc.)
