close to the TT circuit

love this hotel plenty to do at the hotel and easy to walk to Assen town centre and the TT track

location great, staff exceptionally friendly
as repeat visitors having come yearly for the last 7 years this time bed too hard/ plasticky feel.
having just come from de Valk Leeuwarden overall impression was this hotel is a little overpriced in comparison and starting to date a little.

The breakfast was good, but nothing special. Also the hotel room was clean for the most, except the ceiling light was extreme dusty. The room has a controllable heating. Of course there is huge selection of things to do in the hotel itself.
The shower head is very small (water saving one)
The layout in the hotel is extreme confusing so finding you hotelroom on the second floor.
Finally I did miss some simple vending machines in the hotel.

kind and responsive personal at hotel, good option to rent a bikes
it is quite cold in this hotel, not only in the rooms, but also throughout the hotel. The temperature in the pool is low, it is not the most comfortable there.Very small rooms,without fridge.
in restaurant Dapper,most terrible service, I would advise them to take courses on how to behave with guests,they have not so small prices,but you didn’t receive quality of service.
I will not recommend this for my friends

I really like the place . There is a very wide hall for breakfast. And there are many places for activities especially for families.
Unfortunately in the room there is no refrigerator for drinking water.

Breakfast buffet was good. Staff are friendly. There is plenty to do for kids, no need to worry about that here. I personally loved the hard matrasses. Room is fine, nothing special and good if you are just there to sleep. There is the option for all inclusive too, so if you like that then this is a good place.
Hotel is build for big events, large crowds from all walks of life. The hotel therefore doesn't feel really cosy but rather very "mass"-like, with sturdy furniture, long corridors, huge restaurant area etc. Wouldn't recommend this place if you want to really get away and enjoy some luxury and wind down. If you want to stay for an overnight stay, then it's perfect.
