Couldn't have been closer to the (beautiful) train station, which is right across it. The staff was great, the room clean and comfy. worth to stay in Sintra even for one night. The road just behind of this property is a great surprise, with local bars. Worth the choice!!

it was a north facing room, very cold and some mould in the bathroom. the shower leaked onto the floor, adding to the dampness. this room and bathroom badly needed renovating, crack through the heater panel and cracked toilet cistern, rusty metal fittings. I didn’t expect anything fancy for the price I paid, but there should be a minimum level of hygiene and upkeep expected. I wouldn’t book here again.

A little extra maintenance would have make it perfect... The toilet was losing some water while flushing and the towels were with few stains on it, they were clean but, come on, at least the towels when I'm not in my house I wish they would look perfect!

Heater is too small for winter. Can't feel any warmth! Freezing ...

The location is just simply amazing. Right in front of Sintra Station, surrounded by cafés and restaurants, but also not far from the historic city centre. I can check from my windows if the bus 434 has arrived or not ;) The room is magically not noisy even though it is right in front of the main street. This place is super recommended for travellers coming to Sintra by public transport! The staff also allowed me to check in earlier and check out later, without extra charge. Super kind!!! Thank you for making my trip in Sintra so memorable 💖

Staff only spoke basic English, but it was not a big problem. The floor was a bit dirty.

This guesthouse has the convinirnt location just oposite to main entrance to train station. There is some food options nearby such as Chineese restaurant, Burger King, Pizza Hut and traditional Portugese restaurant There is also a bus stop 434 to Penna Palace and Carris bus (yellow and much cheaper) nr 1253 to Cabo da Roca almost oposite the guest house. The staff are very kind and Wifi is good. Near is possible to rent an electric vehicle or an electric bike. This place is clean and staff speaks English.

My room nr 3 is very smal. Too smal for 2 persons. In my opinion it is a good place for a short stay. This area is a bit crowdy and noisy but it is normal close to train station

I almost never leave reviews but in this case wanted to leave some important feedback. The manager was very sweet but unfortunately there is only someone manning the front desk at very inconsistent times. I got into a real pickle when I got locked out of my room and couldn’t get back in. There is an emergency number posted on the door but no one answers it. I had to get another hotel for one night (it was only 5pm when I got locked out) because I just couldn’t get assistance. They need to either make sure that someone is answering the standby number OR ensure someone is manning the desk at all times.

The location is great, right infront of the train station and bus stops. Lots of food options around you (with in 1 minute walk). The staff was friendly and provided more coffee and tea when requested. I personally like my head elevated during sleep so I placed a blanket under my pillow at night, the lady who cleaned our room the next day saw it and brought me another pillow! This shows how kind and caring the staff is. 10/10 The windows are mostly sound proof so the noise from the trains was not an issue. The beds were comfortable. Place is secured and safe.

The sheets and towels were stained. While I'm convinced they are washed daily, it is unpleasent to wash your face with a stained towel or a pillow case with dark marks. This was present in most if not all sheets and towels. The wifi was great the first night but seemed to have stopped working later on the weekend. The doors and walls are not sound proof so we could hear / wake up from people talking in the reception.

Location was very good.no bkfst. Maria, the host was very nice,pleasant person. Please get some new pillows! The ones you have were terrible.

it was filthy all the paint was peeling there were tiles that had holes in them and and a very poor attempt to fill them. There was some sort of overflow in the bathroom which continually emitted water with black dirt in it

Slept really well despite being opposite the station. Issue with the access code on day of departure, however 5his was rectified within 20minutes

Little walk to historic centre

This was a last minute booking in a very busy town so we weren't fortunate enough to find a room that looked like the photograph. What we did find was a small comfortable room that was very clean, run by a very pleasant lady. The room was surprisingly quiet considering it is located directly across the street from the railway station.

Paying 45 euro in Sintra, makes it difficult to complain about anything. We had a great sleep in a clean, comfortable bed. You can't ask for anything more. Thank-you
