A lovely traditional family home with views over the bay. Well equipped and lots of living space. The conservatory area is lovely especially on a sunny day. Parking is a challenge in Mousehole but we were always able to find somewhere for our car. Even if in the harbour car park it’s only £5 for 24 hours. Thank you to the host

The weather was not great but everything else was. Wonderful location and view and close to the town’s shops and restaurants.

A wonderful house in a beautifiul location, with outstanding views; we had a fantastic time exploring the local area - and had everything we needed for a home from home stay.

We’ve been in Trevilley for the 4th time - best location ever for relaxed holidays.
The house has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, is tastefully decorated overlooking the bay with all amenities close by.
Mousehole is a very picturesque little village. We‘ll be back !

This property is absolutely lovely, my family and I had a weeks break here and were sad to leave. The house is incredible and the views amazing. We regularly saw seals and even dolphins on our last day. The house is well equipped and within easy walking distance to local amenities. We already look forward to staying again.

We did have another wonderful week in Mousehole. Even my 2 grown up boys, 18 and 21, came with us, because we all just love the place. Mousehole is a lovely village, but especially Trevilley is a very welcoming place with a warm and cosy feeling as soon as you enter the house. I could sit all day outside, watching the tides and St. Clement island, listening to the seagulls and the seals, it’s so relaxing! I still hear the the waves rolling on the beach…. We‘re looking very much forward to our stay in February, as we both love stormy weather at the seaside, maybe because we‘re from the middle of Bavaria with the sea far away. Thank you for having us again and for sharing Trevilley with us!

We really love the location and the spaciousness of the property. There is also a very useful supply of kitchen utensils and household consumables. Will book for next year without hesitation.

We will definitely return

We had a perfect stay in this lovely house. The views are simply spectacular. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and the beds are comfortable. Mousehole is an amazing spot to be. We enjoyed our walks into the harbor, on the southwest coastal path and some short drives to nearby beaches. Only slight negative is the sometimes challenging car parking in peak seasons.

Lovely Mousehole... gorgeous house!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house in Mousehole, with its spacious accommodation and beautiful sea views. Its location is ideal for exploring the lizard point area of Cornwall and its beautiful coves. We ate at No.2 Fore Street and wow, that is some seriously delicious food!!

Trevilley stay June 2022
House is truly beautiful, with stunning panoramic views looking over the town & sea. It’s big & light and has everything one needs with a big conservatory, lovely to sit in if the weather turns to just observe outside. Lovely mature garden set over 3 levels with table/chairs to enable outdoor eating too.
Beds are very comfortable. We only used 2 of the 3 bedrooms.
Everything you need is there from loads of crockery, glasses, to spices, plus coffee machine. Cooking is easy in the spacious kitchen with a big porch which is so useful to put coats/boots etc.
Our son proposed to his girlfriend whilst there making it even more special.
Only downside is it is tricky parking there and if you’re lucky might find a space on the hill.

The perfect place to relax
This was our second trip to Trevilley and what a treat it is. The views make the house so special and feel like a home away from home. This was a trip that had been rearranged umpteen times due to lockdown and it was wonderful to finally get there. Becca's communication was excellent at every step, and our stay was superb.

A gret place to stay
We had a wonderful week here. It was a lovely place to stay and the views from the house are spectacular. The summer house is great for getting the extra room. Mousehole is beautiful, with lovely cafes and restaurants. Given the covid situation, it was also not that busy. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Great property with stunning sea views
We really enjoyed our stay. We travelled with three young children and also the grandparents stayed in the cabin. The house had everything you would need during a stay and it was just a very short walk into the village and the kids loved walking to the harbour and to the rock pools most days. The views from the house are spectacular! We hope to come back again another time.

Stunning views
Stunning views and lovely house.
Let down a bit by silly things that could be sorted such as cleanliness of oven etc and some soft furnishings downstairs needed a refresh.
But if you want a sea view this is the house for you!

Wonderful stay at Trevilley Mousehole Cornwall
The house was very clean and well equipped with spectacular views over the harbour, St Clements, St Michaels Mount and the open sea. Becca and Deborah were very responsive via email and text to any questions we had.
If Becca is looking for suggestions to improve even further (having stayed in other similar luxury cottages..) I'd suggest the following :
Put up some instructions in the bathroom on how to use the Jacuzzi.
Provide bathroom items like: soap, showergel, creams, shampoo, conditioner.
Provide kitchen items like: Foil, clingfilm, black bags, tea, coffee.
Provide more wood for the fireplace.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to Cornwall again.
Thanks again Becca and Deborah x

Family getaway
We had a lovely time at Becca’s home in Mousehole. The location and view were perfect, just as pictured. We enjoyed daily local walks into the harbor, on the southwest coastal path and some short drives to nearby beaches. It was a great spot to sit and relax in the sunroom or get out and explore Cornwall. We would love to come again!

Brilliant location
For us this was the perfect house for a winter break: cosy with open fire and warm conservatory giving panoramic views over the sea. It has great character, the feeling of a much used and much loved home.

Exactly what we look for in a vacation rental
The home was bright and beautiful with lovely views out every window. The coastal path was nearly right outside the door for good hiking and Mousehole has an excellent restaurant.

Wonderful week!
Fully recommend this lovely house and Mousehole. Lots to do, even in Feb! The house is great: fully equipped with everything you need, and more! Very comfy beds and immaculate bed linen and towels, which was a lovely surprise. Views from each window are spectacular. A great place to come and unwind, we hope we’ll be back soon!

Beautiful home!
We stayed three nights here and used it as our base for the very south part of our Cornwall trip such Land's End, St. Michael's Mount, Penzance, Cape Cornwall. The home is beautifully decorated and pride of ownership is evident. It really felt like a home and not a clinical holiday rental as many are these days. There was nothing like getting home and sitting out in the sunroom until dark and then putting on a fire. We used wood-burning fireplace every night (would recommend a hearth screen due to sparks and we did not leave unattended even for a moment). The kitchen is amazingly well-equipped. Everything you could ask for and more. One of us used the shower room (also sink and toilet) on the main floor as the "master" ensuite bathroom has a beautiful soaking tub, but no stand-up shower capacity. There is a second bathroom on the same floor as the bedrooms as well. As we were out and about each day, it was a bit of a worry if we would find parking on the street near the house - we tried to get back before 5PM and luckily we did find a place each day. Getting our luggage, groceries etc. to the house is a bit of a challenge but in spite of being two older ladies, we managed it. The path to the house gets a bit muddy after it rains, but we just took great care. Mousehole is an old village and navigating the narrow streets in a vehicle can be a challenge if you are not accustomed to this. The village itself is small and not too much room for pedestrians, but you can walk nicely along the wall and sit. It is part of the south coast path and some of that is easy to walk. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Very pleasant Stay
The location and views were spectacular. We enjoyed all the amenities provided including the fireplace on colder nights. When we had a questions about the property the mgr was very responsive. The pictures are exactly as shown-it is a very beautiful property. I could see where parking might be an issue during busy season but we were fortunate to find parking every night on Raginnis Hill as suggested. While there is a Deli for sandwiches in town plan ahead and make reservations in advance if you intend to dine in Mousehole. Alternatively, within a 15 minute drive via car there are many restaurant choices in Newlyn and Penzance and supermarkets including Tesco, LIDL, Morrisons and Sainsburys. Proximity to Minack Theatre, St Michaels Mount, Kyance Cove, and Sennen Cove were ideal for day trips via car. We took the train from Penzance to St Ives to avoid any congestion into St Ives. Cornwall is a very beautiful part of England and we were very fortunate to be see it first hand.

What views!
What a glorious stay we had at this beautiful house. The house was wonderful, a genuinely fabulous base for a holiday in beautiful Mousehole. The views were spectacular and were such a treat, regardless of what the weather was doing outside, especially sunrise and sunset. The beds were comfy, the house was cosy, and we had a brilliant time. Thank you so much for renting out such a beautiful house.

A spacious house on a steep hill with stunning views across the bay, we felt as if we were staying in someone’s home rather than a holiday let

The view is fabulous and you could spend all day just watching the boats go in and out of the bay . Fantastic sunrise.

Fantastic house in an amazing location
This is a great place to come and unwind. The views are lovely and the spaces are set out so that you can all be together or you can all find somewhere that you are by yourself. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfortable. The host is really quick to respond and always helpful.

Wonderful
What a comfortable and amazing house! Everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and supplies. We were there in September and had no trouble parking right on the road above the house. The view is truly spectacular. We had a wonderful experience in Cornwall and the house played a big part.

Beautiful house and fabulous location
We loved the house, it was absolutely beautifully designed and decorated inside (it's obvious that the owners are artists!) and the views from two of the bedrooms, the downstairs conservatory and the garden are unrivalled. Top quality furnishings, bedlinen etc made our stay very enjoyable. Becca and Deborah were extremely helpful and easy to deal with. Mousehole is charming but it's a good job you can walk into the centre from the house as driving round its narrow streets and parking are extremely difficult (admittedly we were there in the peak holiday period).
