Notre hôtesse a été adorable et nous avait prévu de quoi faire les petits déjeuners. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Situé à l'entrée du village, vous n'avez pas le bruit des restaurants tout en étant à 100m du centre et vous disposez d'une petite plage avec sa douche située juste en contrebas. La maison prévoit des serviettes, même de bain, et de confortables transats. La décoration est actuelle et sympa.

Attention la terrasse est face à la maison mais de l'autre côté de la petite route qui mène au village, il faut donc traverser, ce qui n'est pas forcément clair sur les photos. Cette terrasse n'est pas fermée et souvent "squattée" par des passants quand vous partez. Il suffit de dire gentiment à ceux-ci qu'elle est privée mais un petit portail ou un panneau serait une bonne idée pour appuyer les dires et en dissuader certains.

Le logement est formidable. En face de la mer, avec une grande terrasse qui donne sur la plage en dessous et une vue sur l'ile de mochlos. Les propriétaires sont des gens très sympathiques qui parlent anglais et français. La maison a été rénovée avec gout. Elle est spacieuse, bien décorée, lumineuse, notamment la pièce de séjour avec un couchage. située à 100 mètres du centre. Pour notre arrivée, le frigo était rempli avec de l'eau , des fruits, du beurre, du jambon, du fromage...bref, tout y était. Un super lieu de résidence. à faire et à refaire dans un coin de crète authentique !

Not only is the place beautify- it is kept immaculate- and it’s a perfect vacation home!! Irini the host was so friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed- she even made a special trip just to give us a special Pastry we loved!! We loved her so much we hung out for drinks on the beautiful terrace. If you want to relax and be spoiled- AKTI VILLA is the place to be!!

Our stay at Villa Akti was excellent, of our 3 month trip to many beautiful destinations, it stands out as the very best experience & our favourite stay, we were really sad to leave. It’s a brilliant, well designed, modern and comfortable apartment just steps from the magnificent waters of Mochlos in a traditional Greek building, (best swimming & snorkelling ever!) Excellent kitchen, living and sleeping areas with everything you could possibly need, quiet and effective air-conditioning, plenty of towels, coffee machine, washing machine etc. The villa also has the most spectacular private deck directly across the small street that sits above the water. The perfect spot to relax and take in the phenomenal sea views and sunrise as it is huge and has great outdoor furniture, tables, chairs and sun-beds along with an outdoor shower. Literally a minute's walk to get into the water. Mochlos is a hidden gem. The picturesque fishing village reveals itself as you walk just 50 or so meters around the bend. The village has a small supermarket, shops and gorgeous cafes and traditional Greek restaurants that all have superb views of the sea and across the little island. Irini, the owner, takes hosting to a whole new level. Irini met us at the property, showed us through and gave us great info. Her communication was exceptional, she contacted me prior to our arrival to enquire about what we would like to have in the fridge. She sent me pictures of what she was buying to make sure it was exactly what we wanted and when we arrived the fridge was stocked with breakfast, lunch, drinks, and many little thoughtful extras. Irini is such a fun, lovely, friendly person and she checked in with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, very keen to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. She also organised our transfers to and from Mochlos with a fabulous taxi that was luxurious and sent a gorgeous present with the driver when we left.

Absolutely nothing, it was awesome!

Everything was ok! Host was super kind, house was super cozy! There was everything for young baby: bed, chair, spoons! Evenings on terrace was magic, we enjoyed seaview, sound of the sea and tasty wine. Hope to visit this house again! Irini and Kostis, thank you very much!

We're a family of 6 (3 teenagers and a 9 yo). There was plenty of space in the house for all 6 of us. The house was very clean and well equipped. There were enough towels (which were changed during the week) and even shower gel and shampoo was provided. The house is really lovingly decorated situated at the sea. There is a small road in between the house and the beautiful terrace, which is right above the sea. Sea access with a tiny beach is right around the corner. The location is perfect, also very close to the local taverns and the minii market (which stocks all you need), what more do you want? :-) Last but not at all least, Irini and Costis were such great hosts!! They gave us a lot of tipps of what to do in the area and even filled our fridge with more than just the basics for breakfast etc!!! Very generous and very friendly! It was the perfect holiday! Thank you so much for everything!

It was the warmest welcome ever! Irini, the host, prepared wonderful local gifts, pastries and goodies and Irini and Kostas were very helpful with everything. The Villa was very clean and smartly equipped. You're in the middle of this wonderful village, but you have to know that the village road is right in front of your door.

We came with a family of five and had great time. The house is perfectly located, spotlessly clean and well equipped, with the beautiful veranda right above the ocean for fantastic breakfasts and sundowners. Very good restaurants and bars are just minutes away. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful - hospitality at its best. Really nothing to complain, we hope to come back soon.
