This place was very nice, clean, great location and well appointed.

Clean condo, lots of space for all of us. No complaints about the condo. Only complaint is the pool closing before it's dark outside. I understand that to be an HOA policy but it's disappointing. Rules say no loud noise after 10pm, then the pool should be open until at least 10pm. All the kids wanted to go night swimming, and the bright lights inside the pool makes it worse when you can't go in.

We had the best time in Artist’s Palette! The condo is quiet, clean, and very cozy! We loved having three balconies and lots of privacy! Everyone we worked with was very helpful and accommodating and we enjoyed meeting new people within the Shipwatch complex. We will definitely be staying here again!

Beautifully decorated property. Amazing views. Everyone loved their rooms (from preteens to grandparents) and hanging out in the adorable patios. So great to wake up and look out to the pool and the ocean and be able to just walk downstairs (or take the elevator) and be there in a few steps! Great location and amenities. We love to go out to eat all over Charleston but you really don’t have to leave Wild Dunes if you don’t want to. We will definitely be looking for opportunities to book this one again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this gorgeous home! Everything was perfect! Comfortable beds, upscale living room furniture and patio furniture. Air conditioning, water pressure for showers, and all appliances were updated and ideal. No mold anywhere. The condo was well stocked. The two balconies and penthouse patio were well appointed. The beachfront location with beautiful and clean swimming pool was also amazing. Shaded chaired pool deck was a big hit too.

The condo was great especially with all the decks. The kids loved the pool and I loved how close we were to the beach.

Location was perfect. House was exceptionally clean. Had everything we needed. Beds, pillows and bedding were very comfortable. Views we’re incredible. We will definitely be back.

The 3BR condo overlooking the ocean and pool was the perfect place for my wife, mother in-law and two young children. Spacious, clean, well appointed and conveniently located. Highly recommended.

The layout was great to entertain, relax and paint or read and to enjoy the gorgeous beach. It’s nice that each room has its own bathroom and television. It’s really well kept and would definitely return. Just a short walk to the beach and pool and the property of wild dunes was also well kept and secure.

Very clean, easy check in, good and fast communication with host. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of kitchen appliances and utensils for cooking in. Easy walk to the beach, close to several restaurants and less than 30 min drive to Charleston. Only bad thing was the pool was ice cold which is understandable due to the time of year, however would be nice to have hot tub accommodation or heated pool. Overall great experience!

Upon arrival it was very apparent that the floors had not been cleaned on both levels. I took my shoes off and my feet were black with dirt and the floors were covered with sand. Even worse - there was no vacuum so I had to sweep and mop the entire place. The “rooftop balcony” was not usable because the rug was COVERED in disgusting black mold. The furniture also had mold spots. I contacted the owner who said they were aware of this but it would take a team to move the rug - seriously? Roll up the rug and throw it out and bleach the floor. We were looking forward to using that space. No one should have to begin vacation cleaning. The owner Steve credited the cleaning fee and was supposed to credit us for the unusable porch but did not. He tried to claim that “mildew” is normal. This was deep black mold. Also Hurricaine Ian rolled in aa a Cat 1 storm. charleston shut down for 2 days and the pool area was totally broken down a full day before the storm. I wrongly assumed that the owners would give us a credit for a future visit - we were told that we should have gotten trip insurance. We packed up to leave and started receiving instructions on how we should prepare the condo for the storm and bring all the heavy outdoor furniture in but we would get no credit for the lost days. I always thought that trip insurance was for family emergencies butbe aware that that is not the case if you decide to rent here. I think it is very shortsighted of the owners to be so greedy. I also would think that you would not want renters in your home during a hurricaine. Instead they sent us texts saying the storm wouldnt be significant. Ridiculous. If you want cleanliness and fair management this is not the one.

The unit was in a great location. It had a great view of the beach. Beds were comfortable. There needs to be more lamps throughout the unit-bedroom on first floor bedroom, living room, and 2nd bedroom upstairs. TV’s were not working.. had to figure out streaming. Y’all did bring 2 rokus but could use 2 more for all TV’s. There was not an ice machine in the frig and trays not full. Would be a plus is couple of bags of ice were in the unit for check in if no plans to replace refrigerator or get an ice machine. Back deck was lovely. Chairs on master balcony are broken and should be replaced. Kitchen was newly renovated and lots of kitchen items to use. Enjoyed the stay very much.

First off got there and went to the bathroom and the toilet clogged, not from me. Came and fixed and then rest of week off and on would smell throughout the entire downstairs. It was GROSS. Called/texted about tvs. Was told no live tv only Netflix and if I wanted I could sign into my own account to watch the local news. Not stated at all. My mother is 74 and hardly left the condo and had to watch Netflix in which she didn’t even know how to operate. We stayed in shipwatch last year and loved it so we thought we would upgrade to a penthouse . Well let me tell you it was not an upgrade in the slightest and cost more. I will NEVER stay at this condo again. I’m not one to write bad reviews but the smell was GROSS!

This was our 2nd stay at Artist's Palette. The good: 1. New mattress in Master!! Yes!! Much needed 2. The Mr. Coffee died, we reported it, and had a new one same day. The bad: 1. Cable only worked for part of one day on news channels only. We don't watch a lot of TV on vacation, but if we had been staying during college football season....oh hell no! That would not have been good AT ALL!! We followed the directions EXACTLY....multiple times. 2. The cheap plastic chairs on the Master balcony were broken and unusable....maybe even unsafe if someone just sort of plopped down into them. 3. The unit just needs some love....the towel rack in the 2nd upstairs bathroom is gone....and the unit did not seem as clean as it had been. For a place priced like that, it should all work and be first-rate.

This was exactly what we were looking for as a group of friends. It’s a comfortable, convenient space with a beautiful view right on the beach with a pool. We left feeling relaxed after having a great time enjoying beach, restaurants and the city!

Stayed at Artist Palette July 10-14, 2022. Well appointed two-floor condo with great view of pool and beach. Separate bath for each bedroom a real plus for three couples. Lots of free parking and several carts for delivering belongings to and from the residences. Place has a homey atmosphere, plenty of kitchen utensils, pots, and pans. The bar area under the stairway worked perfectly for us. We especially liked all hard-surface flooring; no musty carpet smell. We would have preferred two single beds instead of the small double on the first floor, but all bedding was comfortable and really clean. One vanity sink did not empty fully, but management repaired it immediately. Easy and relatively short walk to the beach, which is uncrowded.

We loved staying in this condo! It was super clean and so convenient to the beach. It had everything you need for a great vacation. The beds were comfortable and the three patios were enjoyed every night! We will definitely stay here again! Beautiful views! We also enjoyed riding bikes, taking walks, the pool, the beach, and great shopping and sightseeing.

We stayed here the week after Easter. Everything was great. The ocean views are spectacular and the condo has been updated and is extremely comfortable and inviting.

We enjoyed our week on IOP. Our unit was very nice. Outstanding view and location. The kitchen was very well equipped, balconies were comfy, and pleasant decor.
