Food was amazing, location is amazing and staff are amazing! Our tent had an absolutely stunning view of the sunset and a lovely terrace to sit out on. The tent was so cosy and a private bathroom just made the experience perfect.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They explained a lot about the Bedouin culture in an enthusiastic way. The location is beautiful, around 6 km outside of the Wadi Rum village. The views are stunning and the silence is amazing. The tent was quite big and we had our own terrace, which was really nice. The food is delicious and in the evening you can drink a tea around the campfire. The atmosphere is nice. Also the WiFi worked very well in our tent.

When booking the place we didn't know that transport, to the camp and back to the village, costs 15JD each way (when you don't book a tour) . We would have liked to know this when making the booking. The smell of our bathroom was very bad. Even though we opened all the doors for quite some time, we couldn't get rid of it.

It was a great experience overall. The size was neither too small nor too big, the food was really delicious and the Jeep Tour was one of the best experiences we have ever made. The camp is deep in the Wadi Rum desert, far away from the village. Abdullah, the owner, offers several interesting activities, recommendations (which we did) are the half-way camel ride towards the camp and the full-day Jeep Tour.

Absolutely stunning experience. Actually it was not just accommodation but a package of amazing ride across the desert, lunch in the wild, visiting jaw-dropping places, sunset show, dinner and night in very comfortable bungalow (with hot water and warm blankets). Of course: not all included in the base price ;) but overally - definitely WORTH.

Breakfast and location is amazing.

This was the highlight of our stay in Jordan, I wish we stayed for more than one night. Wadi Rum is a magical out-of-this-world place, and Desert shine camp was the perfect base to experience it. Facilities (shower, bed, sockets) were pretty good for the middle of a desert, great location for watching the sunset and sunrise, tasty food, friendly staff, beauuutiful starry sky despite it being almost full moon, but the best part was the jeep tour - we did the 3-hour one with Hussein and loved every minute of it, especially running down the sand dunes (you gotta do it barefoot), the ancient inscriptions, and the traditional tea at a gorgeous sunset. We visited during the first week of March and it was cold at night even with a couple of blankets, so definitely bring some warm clothes.

Everyone was working together to ensure we were feeling good. Over there, you will not meet just a staff, but people with an amazing heart! We've also been impressed by how good was looking the room, for a place to stay in the desert! And the view ... Stars or sunset from your deck !

The owner was very helpful, he answered immediately, he prepared good option for me and made everything what I needed to enjoy my stay there. We took all day tour from his offer, and he took care about all. I’m impressed and I can only fully recommended stay by him.

the guide was not so much talkative to compare to other guides, the reason lay in his English skills, despite this I’m satisfied.

I was surprised by how high level everything is. This was the best meal we had in Jordan up to this point. The toilets and showers were great and we had electricity in our tent

Wadi Rum is very touristic, jeeps and camps everywhere. But that is nothing personal for the camp

We had a great time in Wadi Rum. Desert shine camp team is very professional and at the same time you feel very welcome as a guest. The food is delicious and the atmosphere around the campfire with lots of delicious Bedouin tea is really unforgettable. The camp is in a great location with a beautiful evening view and a shade in the morning so you can wake up slowly. You can book different activities for your stay, which we did and enjoyed very much. We had a great time with our two young guides Abdullah and Awad. The facilities are basic but in good condition (warm water) and the camp is neat and clean. We can definitely recommend a multi-day trip to Wadi Rum and Desert Shine Camp for your stay

Contacted in advance to arrange a very fairly priced transfer to the village and also a great jeep tour leading to the camp. All facilities were excellent, food was good and there was lots of it. The staff and guides spoke great English and gave a great tour and were very welcoming.
