Very private and quiet with beautiful lake views and access. Clean and simple cabin with everything you need to get away.

The pond view was mesmerizing in any weather and at any time of the day. We could enjoy it from our glass walled bedroom, the deck or the dock. The pond was lovely to swim in and we loved the quietness. We plan on returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Lily Pond. The kayaks were quite accessible and the pond is great for morning and evening paddles. Had everything we needed in the kitchen.

The house is well located and the lake and dock are nice, but the Issues were the condition and cleanliness of the property. They do a superficial clean between guests, which is fine, but the interior drawers and cabinets/under sink are dirty and cluttered, walls peeling in the bathroom, baseboards and doors need to be cleaned, windows and screens are dirty, deck should at least be swept between guests, kitchen sink and fridge leak, house smells strongly of smoke, and the couch really really needs to be replaced as it’s covered in stains. That’s not okay. I had to request a sheet to put over it. And I think the fireplace may need to be inspected. It smoked the house with the flue open. The grounds are also unkempt and somewhat hazardous with brush. No comfortable indoor or outdoor furniture. And there are no “available kayaks.” Images and descriptions are way overstated. For almost $250 a night (after taxes and fees), I would expect that attention would be paid to the care and hygiene of the property for health, safety, and comfort. You cannot charge hotel prices for this quality of a rental. Way overpriced. Do not recommend.

Loved this place! Very private and quiet. Bathroom and Kitchen worked great. Canoe and private dock was a huge plus. The only issue was that the wifi did not work at all and reception is poor in the area. Of course, this is a great place to unplug, but some decent wifi to watch a late night movie, look up recipes, or play music would have been preferred.

This rental was the perfect private getaway with breathtaking views of the pond. 1 hour from Portland and a short drive from Boothbay Harbor. The property comes with all the amenities you need but prepare to disconnect from tech as the wifi is not suitable for video streaming. The outdoor property could use some upkeep but the house itself was very cozy. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to relax in nature!

I loved the privacy, and being right on the water. The view is beautiful

I wish I could give 5 stars, but I can’t. We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon, at 4:30. We unlocked the door and entered into a powerful smell. Campfire. Black soot up the front of the fireplace and the smell was awful. And of coarse, we are super sensitive to the smell. Looking around, I found the couch to be filthy, every screen had nasty cobwebs, dirt on the floor, bedding filthy, mold on the shower floor, Bathroom faucet was disgusting and obviously not cleaned . I was profoundly disappointed, our 2 day getaway by the lake was not as relaxing as I imagine. Hair in the bathroom, on the towels...it was nasty. The unit wasn't cleaned before we got there. I would post pictures if I could, but it doesn’t allow me to do that. Thankfully I had some blankets in the car, which is what we slept on, purchased shower shoes to use the shower, draped extra sheets over the couch to sit on, you get the point. Otherwise, we would have left. This could have been a great experience, but it wasn't. We couldn't wait to leave, which is unfortunate as it's a great spot. I have sent Vacasa several emails and still have not heard back form them. I guess I'm not surprised with how the state of the rental was left for us. No attention to detail, cleanliness or customer service.
