Wonderful location and home will stay again

Our thoughts were lounging in or watching the grandchildren play in the attached pool. The pool heater didn’t work and never warmed the water, my money for heated pool was refunded but no fun was ever possible. The extreme annoyance is the pool-door-alarm. It is impossible to move an adult carrying dinner for a family through the heavy glass doors in less than 9 seconds! And to get back into the main house the time limit again is maybe 9 seconds if you are very strong and can open the heavy sluggish sliding door. We all had to hide the dog who panicked every time the alarm off. No fresh air could come into the rooms. Also the pool step railing was wobbly and loose at its base and the dryer was not connected to the wall to vent out of the laundry room. There is only one thermostat—on the second floor, which warmed a great deal each afternoon. That sun’s heat triggered the a.c. to run, chilling all of us on the ground floor,trying to enjoy conversation or a puzzle. Hooded sweatshirts for most of us. Barely enough cooking tools in the drawers or cabinets. All beds were very comfortable. We did enjoy the Solterra clubhouse pool and lazy river float fun.

Easy access, great amenities and clean environment!

Clean, no bugs at all, comfy beds, very relaxing. The downfalls were there was only one roll of toilet paper when we got there, no cooking pans for the oven, no oven mitts or kitchen towels, only one extra trash bag. No tablets for the dish washer or any dawn to wash dishes with. So we had to add that stuff to the list of things to get. (I did not contact anyone about this because I knew it would be faster to just run down the the store and get them myself) Another thing that was a downfall was the “pool alarm” on the sliding glass door. One side is falling off and is taped up. And if you leave the door open for more than 5 seconds the alarm goes off. This prohibited us from using the patio area at night (to just sit and relax outside) because the alarm is extremely loud and would wake up our kids as there is no way to deactivate it when you are coming in. Other than that it was a very nice home, well presented. Plenty of hangers to hang your clothes up. Beautiful decor as pictured online. Club house was very nice. I do however recommend bringing your own ring for the lazy river because they’re very limited and otherwise have to wait on one from someone else which takes time. I will also add prior to booking I had some questions and the property manager was so fast at responding and was thorough! Side note: if you are renting a stroller for anything (theme parks or what not), Kingdom Strollers doesn’t deliver to this house. But Orlando Stroller Rentals does!
