We had seven kids under 10 in the house, and there was more than enough room to sleep and play for all of them. Stephanie’s house was clean and perfectly furnished - very nice but also comfortable.

We stayed in Wintergreen for a family weekend. The house was beautiful. The host was engage and responsive. In addition, the host was incredibly accommodating for our needs. I cannot recommend this property and this house enough. We had a great weekend and it was in big part to our host and their house. Thank you for opening it up to us.

We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation in Lynchburg and we were not disappointed. Very clean, easy to find, and check in was easy!

We had a WONDERFUL long weekend at your beautiful and comfortable home!! We’ll hopefully be back next year!! The house is around the corner from our parents old house on Deer Spring Rd., too, so it was nice to see the old place!!

Loved this property. It's very close to skiing and other activities (5 min drive), quite clean and well-equipped, and large enough for four adults and six kids (and two dogs). Communication was easy and helpful. Overall, we had an excellent stay.

We had a marvelous time at our family reunion at this place. The kitchen is generously stocked with clean and functional appliances, flatware, and kitchen gadgets The property is flawlessly clean and everything about this place exceeded our expectations. We will absolutely be back.

We had stsyed at this house before for a ski trip and it was very spacious and comfortable. The house is well built and nicely decorated. We decided to stay here again for a 3 couples getaway. It was still very nice and all couples enjoyed it. It was close to wineries, apple orchards and not too far from UVA such that we were able to also visit our son for a football game. We loved drinking wine by the fire and enjoyed being up in the mountains. The homeowner was excellent to work with. We would definitely come back for a third visit!

We had a great weekend away at Stephanie’s house! It was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of hikes and breweries nearby too. We were traveling with little one and they loved all of the puzzles and games at the house!

Lovely booking from start to finish. The host was quick to respond and very helpful. The home itself was located high atop the Wintergreen resort in a cozy space. Inside the home was fresh and clean and appeared to be newly renovated with updated bathrooms and kitchens. The kitchen is nicely stocked with all cooking essentials. The bedding is modern and cozy as is the main family room. The basement area is perfect for kids and teens with lots of games and a nice size TV. The extra fridge is nice for a longer stay.. All the bathrooms have plenty of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and even extra toothbrushes and toothpaste in case you forget.
Overall this is wonderful place to stay. We had 9 family members here and there was ample room and beds.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable home well suited for a large group. We had a long term summer stay and really enjoyed it. Stephanie responded very quickly to questions and was a great host.

The furnishings in the home were excellent - tastefully artistic. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were excellent. The property was well maintained. Having said that, we never did get the air conditioner to work. But the air was cool up on the mountain.

Everything was spic and span. The children (4 and 9) found plenty of things to keep them occupied even though it rained every day so outdoor activity was out of the question. This was our 2d stay at Doves Landing and we will definitely be back.

We loved this property! It's bigger than it looks in pictures. Very clean and stocked with all the amenities. Loved the basement for the kids to play in. Loved that we could bring our dogs. Loved the location on the golf course.

This house was great for a family of 9. The location is just a few minutes from the slopes and restaurants. It was so easy to drop of our skiers and pick them up. I really appreciated how well stocked the house was with everything you would need for a long weekend. It was very clean, comfortable, great beds, plenty of bathrooms and dog friendly. Our little pup did great there. We will definitely stay there in the future!

We had a fantastic time staying in this property. Stephanie’s check in email contained all sorts of helpful information and the house itself is gorgeous. It was very well equipped and had plenty of space for a large family. We didn’t use all of the amenities included but really appreciated them none the less! I would highly recommend staying here.

Great House in the Mountains
The house was very clean and worked great for our family of 6 adults. This was our first trip to this area in Virginia and it was a very enjoyable week. The views from the overlooks are spectacular! Stephanie was always quick to reply with any questions and very helpful with information on wineries in the area.

Fantastic!
The house is fantastic (very nice and has wonderful "cabin in the woods" vibes), the location is great (Bold Rock and hiking so close!), and Stephanie was incredibly helpful and kind (including letting us reschedule very last-minute from March to July when things got crazy with COVID, and not even charging summer rates). We'll be back!

Great winter getaway
Went for the weekend to do some skiing/boarding and visit some local breweries with friends and family.
Everything was great - we were looking forward to using the firepit, unfortunately it was too windy and cold so we made due with the gas fireplace.
The upstairs and downstairs entertainment areas were perfect to let us spread out when were were all at the home, and making breakfast/dinner for 12 was so easy in the well stocked kitchen.
The area around the home has a bunch of walking/hiking trails which we never got time to use, but we would love to be back
.
Our only complaint was local cell service - which is obviously not the fault of the homeowner.

Wish it was easier to get to the slopes. Very busy week. Parking was an issue. House has all a family would need.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house was beautiful, clean and had anything we could have needed. Stephanie was quick to respond when we needed her. We would love to go back and enjoy the house and property soon!
