Excellent location for the town centre. Loved the eclectic decorating, felt super homely and old country style - the beds were so comfy, especially with electric blankets and the kitchen was great. We loved sitting around the log fire playing games. Would have loved to spend more time there and use all of the resources like the bikes and cart - next time!

Perhaps a laundry would be good, we didn't need it with the good weather but if we did I would have really missed it.

Rooms were cozy and warm, living room was perfect place with open fire to hang with friends and we made pumpkin soup from the veggies in the garden. We will be back!

Excellent location, walking distance to many of Tenterfield's historical buildings and eating venues. Really interesting old house with pot belly fireplace and outdoors fire pit. Nice garden. Very functional kitchen.

We visited late May when temperatures were dropping to zero at night. Bedrooms were cold although electric blankets on the bed were wonderful.

Heritage style in keeping with the history of the area

Proximity to town and facilities are great. Great home away from home to relax in at the end of a hot day.

Shower caddy or similar in the shower for shampoo etc would be handy. Old house so floorboards can be a bit squeaky during those night dashes to the bathroom 🙃. Light sleepers should maybe stay in the front rooms. Beware that there is No cancellation/refund option through booking.com

The house was perfect. Great location, comfortable, clean. We had every thing we needed. Hosts were great to communicate with. We would definitely go back again.

Perfect country house just off the main road so no traffic noise. Beautifully and comfortably furnished, well kitted out kitchen (not that we used it), plenty of space including huge bedrooms, and a gorgeous verandah and garden. Aircon in the living area and electric blankets to keep you cosy. We’ll definitely return!

There is no kindling provided for the fire – we’d been warned and collected some but it was damp and so we never got the fire started. A shame that a small thing like this isn’t provided. The 2nd bathroom is outside on the verandah – didn’t worry us as there were only 3 of us staying but if you had 4 couples some people would have been trekking outside.

big bedrooms, good size backyard with trampoline for kids, additional shower and toilet outside

only fault was that the grass was not mown for the kids in the backyard.
