Excellent simple continental breakfast, ideal given the amount of food we ate elsewhere (what happened to portion size?). Location was excellent, outside of town, very quiet, but only a short ride into town. Bonus was host Michael, who regaled us with endless stories during breakfast, and had quite a few good suggestions as to how to occupy our time, given our age and infirmities!

Beds slightly high in middle, so when rolling over in the night, felt like you were rolling out of bed! We had the single beds, and both made the same comment.

House is located just outside the town, very comfortable and private. Great views of the area. We were able to relax and enjoy our stay. Owners were very kind. Breakfast was great, we loved it, thank you :)

The property was nestled into a very small town right next to sheep and cows. Hosts and sleeping accommodations excellent. Comfy beds and very clean and organized. You can walk to the town to grab dinner after a long drive. Breakfast was wonderful, we loved talking to Michael he shared a lot of interesting facts about the North Island.

The distance to the Cathedral Cove is about 50 minutes away and Hot Beach. Driving back and forth is a long day after the beach. Also there is limited food choices for dinner in town.

beautiful property set back from the road with beautiful well maintained gardens. Nice dog walk just outside of the property. Comfortable, clean room with everything you could need. The hosts Michael and Ross did a lovely continental breakfast for us- juice, hot drinks, toast and preserves, cereals and fruit served in their conservatory. We loved Michael’s company and could have easily spent all day happily talking to him. We would love to stay again soon.
